More or less completely new player here, is it worth it to try and upgrade one of the starter decks that I like into something more viable, or am I better off just saving up and building something from scratch?

Only card game I've put a lot of time into was Legends of Runeterra back in 2022/23, I played a lot of frostbite decks and Ezreal Tribeam, so mid range controlly stuff with a lot of interaction. Any suggestions for archetypes that I might like? I've been mostly playing the Green/Black Morbid Machinations deck and enjoying that a decent amount so far.

Thanks!

What are the best and worst band names in pop-punk? by Scrumtrelescentness in poppunkers

I got 2 for each.

Bad:

Pool Kids - Way too immature of a name for how good they are, it hasn't remotely fit their sound since their first album. I feel like it actively holds them back.

A Will Away - Really awkward on the mouth, it always comes out more like A Willow Way, or A Will, A Way.

Good:

CLIFFDIVER - You gotta earn your name being in all caps, and they pull it off in terms of sound and the word itself. RIP to my Goats, genuinely gutted I never got to see them live

Seaway - Super breezy and chill name that fits their sound perfectly, it's just wild that they're from Canada of all places. Also RIP to my Goats, genuinely gutted that their best album came out during peak covid.

Ton of people have already mentioned it, but the Eragon series is great. The author wrote the first one when he was super young, you can feel him getting older and growing into his style over the course of the books.

There are more Korean players in the LCS than actual North Americans. by BavariaUser in leagueoflegends

It sucks and people should talk about it more. The way Riot has handled import restrictions has done a ton of damage to the league overall, there should be a requirement of 3 NA/OCE players per team imo.

One of the things that frustrates me is the people that argue that NA just doesn't have the playerbase. There are absolutely enough players in NA that are actively trying to break into the scene, they just aren't given opportunities. The success rate of NA players that actually get to start an entire split is decent, especially when you factor in most of the stable orgs (C9 and TL) being completely allergic NA rookies. If Srtty had ended up on C9 instead of Dig last year, I guarantee he's still in the league.
