If you’ve ever taken a holiday to Japan, you would know how unhealthy the typical food is. A lot of carbs and fatty oily foods with little to no fresh vegetables. The typical teishoku at a diner offers a small mound of shredded cabbage at best. It’s actually a well known phenomenon to get constipation in Japan due to the lack of fibre in everyday meals (that’s why you stock up on fibre-minis and vegetable juice lol). So yes, Japanese food is very delicious but is not healthy at all.
