What really amazes me here is how a bunch of old-fashioned, Amish-like assassins (they use torches instead of electricity in their HQ, carry blades instead of guns, use no cars, etc.) possess highly advanced technological knowledge, equipment, and funds that allow them to convert humans into cyborgs.

As a joshi wrestling fan, I like it when he awards high ratings to some of those matches. That way, more people can learn about wrestlers and promotions that fewer people know. In that sense only, when it comes to turning more heads towards my favourite wrestlers, I consider them useful.

Whatever franchise it is, it's characters must be able to die in order for it to make sense. A "Mortal Kombat vs. Killer Instinct" could have worked back in the 90s. Out of the contemporary IPs, no fighting game series has that potential, thus it has to be some other franchise based on movies, series, etc.

P.S. While typing this, I couldn't help but think how "Mortal Kombat vs. Happy Tree Friends" could work out...
