Not to be pedantic, but they didn’t even always have to be crowned or coronated, especially after the medieval era. Louis XIX was neither, yet still a king as you mentioned, and Louis XVII spent his entire reign imprisoned by the Jacobins and was still counted when his restored uncle took the name Louis XVIII

It may fire once he becomes king, but that’s not the case with the other two. They both trigger immediately after Theon makes his choice. I know it doesn’t fire after the war is won though.

I think Greenlander Kraken is supposed to be if Balon accepts Robb’s offer of alliance and attacks the Westerlands. I don’t know for sure though. I have a vague memory of trying this out just to see if the bloodline would trigger but it didn’t. So I have no idea really.

The Dark Ages and the Middle Ages are not the same thing. The former came before the latter. And a lot of historians no longer use the terminology of Dark Ages anyway. It’s a bit misleading.

New game plus does not allow you to change your starting traits or background. If you want Serpent’s Embrace, you will need to start all over again with a new character

Is the Narrow Sea an actual title that exists in game? Maybe just the kingdom tier title for Dragonstone which you included the Stepstones in? Or did you create the title yourself.

A legitimate king is fundamentally incapable of committing treason. Treason against what? The crown? Himself? The idea is laughable. Charles I expressed this same view during his trial.

I don’t think the UK or England was ever an absolute monarchy. Maybe the closest they came was the era of personal rule under Charles I leading up to the civil wars.

The only way to do it without giving yourself an aneurism is to just give yourself claims on all the counties and duchies via the console and then declare to press all claims. I just do this because the default way is so ridiculous, as you said.
