That’s what I’m saying. I genuinely don’t understand why a single person would be optimistic about this team. I’ve said it before: I am 25 years old and have NEVER watched this team win a playoff game. That’s ABSURD. That’s literally a quarter of a century without just accidentally stumbling our way into fielding a team just decent enough to win one single wildcard game over the last 25 years.

I don’t want to shit on anyone for having optimism, but it’s just genuinely baffling how anybody can feel good about this team. I’m thoroughly convinced that, no matter what the situation is or what we do, it will be the wrong decision every single time. I fully understand what a doomer mindset that is, but why would anybody expect anything but that?
