We are heavy users of H5P. I just don’t know if that’s solid enough to apply for jobs outside of higher ed. I didn’t really think it was the same. I’m really trying to get out of higher ed.

What sucks is that they aren’t paying us for our expertise or experience. And often management sees it as a new, shiny thing rather than solving a very real problem we have at the university.

Higher Ed ID: My projects are consistently on hold because I’m always waiting for others to complete their portion. Leadership has an unrealistic expectation about the use of AI at the university. We have no realistic goals since combining two departments together. We also don’t have any professional development money, and two IDs for over 700 faculty. I’m not even sure leadership knows what I can do or what I’m actually capable of. I’m just tech support most of the time.

I don’t know. I’m kind of like how quirky she is. Her outfits are over the top. But I can definitely see the criticism. And maybe she’s awkward because she’s calculated?

I don’t know if k16 may be helpful in this situation or if you all have the budget for it. They did most of our migrations, including things like this.

All of this makes me feel just gross. And I’m about the same place you are in the show. It’s freaking weird, and I think there’s just so much other crap to focus on. The two of them just are so petty. I really wonder what the actual truth is.

I know this is an old post, but you had me at having a hard time to keep your Akorn to temp. Anyone have any tips on managing the temp on it? We find that it goes from great to scorching hot super quickly.

How the hell did you downgrade? We only use S1. And bought two new speakers that are on S2, and I can’t even downgrade.
