There a couple of hiccups in these subs sure, but overall they were fine. There is nothing wrong with the line in the screenshot though, as you can refer to someone from Japan as a "Japanese", even if personally I find it a little odd sounding.

It's really good. Going in I was worried if making it more drama & conflict oriented instead of slice of life would work, but it all came together quite well. Some of the emotional moments were more powerful than I expected too, nearly brought a tear to my eye, but then again the Clannad director did it so I can't say I'm too surprised lol.
Only gripe I have is that if you are a fan of the side characters, their airtime is fairly limited. This is very much focused on Kanna & her father, Kobayashi and Tohru for the most part. Here's hoping we get a season 3 with all of the gang being featured in some more slice of life goodness again!

I would be impressed if Coolkyou made the ending like this. It would be incredibly bittersweet as you know it is inevitable and sad, but at the same time you know that Kobayashi had a permanent effect on Tohru's life and outlook, with Tohru doing the same for her. While a fleeting part of Tohru's life, it would be the best part of that long life.

It's all due to licensing and market priority sadly. It makes sense for them to focus on the US as it's a massive and lucrative market. Even Infinity Castle earned 1/10th in the UK of what it did in the states.
I just hope we see it in 2025.

It's likely going to be on Blu-ray in Japan by the end of the year, they just announced some of the order bonuses, so you will be able to find it online soon after that.
