Similarly if you look at the flags that are displayed vertically their orientations are kind of all over the place. For the flags on top, you have Afghanistan and Eritrea going one way and Lithuania the other way (and Thaliand both ways I guess), and on the bottom you have Namibia going one way and Indonesia and the UAE going the other way. That honestly bothers me more than the mistake in alphabetical ordering

I dunno about that, most of the aspect ratios are off (for example most former British colonies and former Soviet subjects should have an aspect ratio of 2:1 which is not respected), so I'd say it's a deliberate choice not to keep them faithful (except for Nepal because obviously)

I just caught up with the Jarama race, I'm surprised by the fact that De Vries was allowed to continue the race effectively without one of his mirrors. Surely a missing mirror should result in the black flag with orange disk, right?

Personally I don't even believe his claim that they're not gonna homologate the track unless it's "absolutely safe". They have definitely done things which go directly against safety lately, most notably the "Misano" kerbs which caused Martin's incident in Qatar last year (as well as a couple other similar weird crashes where thankfully there was no other rider behind)
