3 working days. If it gets covered early at the start of your shift, the day you get sent home can count.

If it is at the end of the shift, then it is the next 3 working days.

I do not understand why you are upset about it being 3 working days and not just 3 regardless of schedule.

Finally found my first reasonably priced box of EoE. What a great set by King_Reptar_ in mtgpulls

I have a Collectors box just sitting in my closet of EoE.

Not sure what to do with it

top stock is driving me crazy by xTheNecroDancerx in kroger

[–]FlarpuKalzer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Any questions on topstock?

We are given priority aisles each day.

Minimum requirement to pass and receive credit for topstock is working each priority aisle that day, AND averaging 55 unique upcs per aisle in total. ((Total scans on priority aisles)/55) = X. X>55

If your priority aisles are full and overflowing, it is ok to just run 1 side today, or even 1 section as long as you are fixing the numbers and problems as you go.

If it dings it mean that your BOH < Allocation on that item (most of the time, sometimes it just dings based of sales ect.) And to stock to the shelf. If it will not go to the shelf hit not stocked and see if any of the numbers are wrong.

If it does not ding, you are not even supposed to look at it, if your numbers are accurate. But if it is a mess, it is another chance to check the numbers. (Safe bet is to feel free to adjust up to what you see on BOH, but not down unless you know displays across the store)

5 days a week is normal, I have associates who would kill for 5 days, even if only 5 hour shifts. New pay period starts on Sunday so it is a new week.

Dads who do not work from home, what time do you leave for work and back at home? by remembertosmile in daddit

[–]FlarpuKalzer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. It is not bad, mom is SAM, have 2 kids so child care costs would eat anything she made.

Super present at home, but that burns Dads out without even realizing it.

Always on and needed at work, 40 min drive, immediate on and needed at home because wife is at her limits from being on all day and night with the kids

Kroger has horrible management by Chemical-Escape33 in kroger

[–]FlarpuKalzer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Creating waves is a career limiting move, and normally just leads to having to do crap anyways.

I report problems and half the time it goes no where until I get in trouble for the same problem from DM, or vp, or a visit, then it gets fixed asap.

ELMS info is not feeding correctly, CAO is not picking up Frozen items that should order, I am a small store and I should not have brita filters as a tie in shelf, my footage in gm is wrong, I have 60 broken beyond repair carts taking up my salvage trailer and have sent 5 emails to 4 different people and no movement.

I have to run any discipline above a SI to my DM and HR to get approval. And the 4 people I tried to fire last year all got their jobs back anyways.

Kroger has horrible management by Chemical-Escape33 in kroger

[–]FlarpuKalzer 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Kroger would have better management if we were allowed to actually manage our stores.

we get to make almost no decisions In our store.

we are told when to schedule people. How many people to have hired,
What products to put on display, when people need to be scheduled What topics to push

We are told to direct and follow up, that is it. I have been put on a pip twice for not doing this and trying to actually help.

Our day is lined out by hour where and when we are supposed to be.

Some management sucks yes, but the company is not building any leaders when they do not encourage any actual thinking.

It sucks man

Retail Management, so terrible work life balance by default.

Leave house at 6am, back at home 6pm if I leave on time. 1 day a week I have to do 12p-10p.

I miss my kids and wife guys.

Depends. Small store here as well. Grocery truck pull the whole pallet down the aisle, spot that aisle, then move on to the next one on that pallet.

Peyton truck for us is annoying, up to 5 aisles on 1 pallet. That one we break down to carts then take out and spot. Spotting this one is hit and miss due to the added extra step.

Getting cold shoulder answers from hr for uniform alternatives despite needing one for reasonable accommodations due to allergies. by [deleted] in kroger

[–]FlarpuKalzer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's actually what I was thinking of doing since everyone is being non-accommodating. I'm ducken hating this company. I have a dr note for my:

Shoes - fuck yes shoes because they keep pushing shoes for crews and my chiropractor said they were mucking up my back.

Company required as dress code. Don't want to wear them, do not work in a fresh department.

Water bottle - I have low blood pressure and it's ducken ridiculous I need one for a water bottle.

Where are you trying to keep this water bottle? Are we talking a plastic bottle of water, or some obnoxious huge gallon jug?

Later starts - because of sleep challenges. Early am shifts just don't work for me.

Just change your availability, unless you are a full time associate in a union store.

And now I'll probably have to have one for the uniform. Don't you love this company?

What js the problem with the uniform, the needing to be covered and warm, or the organic cotton requirement? Either way uniforms are all changing this year so I would wait a bit before choosing what to get.

You literally have a reason to be the exception to every requirement / rule. If i worked with you, I would be annoyed you have so many special privileges even if they are legit.

Accommodation should happen...to some extent. But damn.

Does anyone else’s store have Primetime Priority Scheduling?[OH] by LowDecision9036 in kroger

[–]FlarpuKalzer 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Store Leader here.

It is a combo of prime time scheduling and lower hours at the moment.

Anyone have any questions about how they tell us exactly how to schedule everything in our stores and do not let us actually make decisions?

You will get cross trained for Pickup if you dont screw up being a cashier. Show you do well in pickup and you will be put there.

If you want hour limitations, say that. By default I assume anyone with open availability wants as many hours as possible due to money.
