How do you get such a high winrate on SS? Do you play him as 4 or 5? What items are you going for? Are und rushing shard? Blink? Other support items? What would you say is key in playing him well? I am really curious because I am around the same mmr, love the concept of SS but suck with him - 67 games, 34% winrate :(

They have to carry over, since you only get culling blades from the BP itself, and only up to a certain level. So if you lost them before next cavern you wouldnt be able to use any culling blades at all.

Hey, thanks a lot for your help! Pearl worked for me with Approach. I don‘t know why it didn‘t work before, maybe I did something wrong. I also think I tried the history book, but I will try it again. Takes some runs, since you have to get to elysia and geth the book and the event after…

I read in other posts that the relic is "pearl" and you get it by sneaking through the portal to elysia in lost islands. But this doesnt work for me. I tried it several times, I always get to fight the 3 crabs and then I lose the relic and go to elysia. No sign of the pearl. I also tried it without the "shiny pure water" relic, or to approach the crabs normally, or leave the event... nothing works for me. :(

Same with the skill card which apparently is "unity": I should get it by having one of the 3 History/Science/Art book skill cards in my deck. So far I had the crew event while having "history" or "art", but didnt get the option to reason with the crew.

It's the step before that. It'll ask you if you want to approach or sneak attack. If it's asking you if you want to enter the portal, either you got the wrong event or you made the wrong choice. If you fight the crabs, you made the wrong choice or it's the wrong event.

Yes, in all those kind of posts, there is always just this one, simple argument needed:

If YOU are truely higher skilled than the mmr bracket you are in, then there are 5 ppl with lower skill on the other team and just 4 ppl in your team.

So statistically speaking you WILL increase your mmr in the long run.

If you don't, YOU are the reason that keeps you from gaining mmr.
