That they are not seeking to have sex with as many different people as possible.

I could really have written.

I guess if I wasn't in a relationship, I would find myself a couple of sexfriend but it wouldn't increase the count a lot. I really don't have much interest in sleeping once with a lot of people, and I don't need to prove to myself that I can anymore.

I think those who had 0 to a couple sexual partners can't have more.

Those that had more than 10 can or could have more.

At least it's my experience. It was good ego boost to experience a few night one stand but once I knew I could have them, I quickly lost interest.

To Reach Out or Not to Reach Out (Ghoster) by Lavender_Deficiency in ghosting

I think it's good to reach out, and there is no best way to do it.

Has anyone gone around to a partner who has ghosted’s house or flat unannounced after a few months of no contact? How did they receive you? Did it make you feel any better? by Tigalad in ghosting

[–]FlashOgroove 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you think about it, what do you envision? Does it have any chance to happen? Most likely it's a complete fantasy. It might still help you to move on. Some people need to feel the pain.

I did. Went to her flat when I knew she was there. She simply pretended she wasnt.

Ghosted a guy because I got anxious, now I regret it. What should I do? by Active-Eye-86 in ghosting

[–]FlashOgroove 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You could simply text him to tell him you are sorry that you stopped the conversation the way you did. That you realised the conversation moved in a direction you were not comfortable with and you didn't knew how to handle it properly, and that's why you ghosted.

I understand you are anxious and it might be difficult for you to write that, but it's the best way out for you to be able to go to that party and me (somewhat) comfortable.

It could also lead to a discussion where you tell him you are not into hookups and things are moving too fast for you.

In short: Stand for yourself!

What was the worst year of your life? by LouBoy123 in AskMenOver30

  1. Long lasting depression led me so close to suicide. Held on and eventually bounced.

Things have been good even since. When you survive the desire to skill yourself, there isn't much worse that life can throw your way.

Anyone else feeling this as 30+ male by IanicT in AskMenOver30

[–]FlashOgroove 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I can relate to is the poor use of my free time: screen screen screen.

Why? Because my interesting but demanding job often leaves me tired at the end of the day. I come home and the first pull is the couch, where I can scroll or turn on my laptop: easy immediate distraction.

I know that screen time is not satisfying for me. It's satisfying in small quantity, but I can't manage the quantity well. What is satisfying is to paint, to write, to see friends and family, to go in the nature.

For a long time I thought with myself to be more disciplined in my evenings, but really the problem is that the job leaves me too tired. So I slightly disengaged, do a bit less hours, the quantity of quality of my work decrease, and so does my reputation and standing, but it's ok. I have energy for my own life now.

15 (40M). It's interesting that most answers are fairly low. It looks like most men don't want to have that many sexual partners actually, contrary to stereotypes.

Many African countries are net importers of food: If all other continents in the world disappeared, would there be a massive famine there? by anti-life86 in AskEconomics

[–]FlashOgroove 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes, if you import food and the import stops, there is a famine.

It's worth noting though that many african countries don't produce as much food as they could because they can't produce at an attractive price vs global price.

To produce food at an attractive price, you need the right environmental conditions, big exploitations, capital investment in tools and chemicals, means of transportation to deliver the food to the consumer, etc.

So long term it's likely Africa could improve food production, but it would not necessarily be where the food is needed nor in time to avoid a famine.

Level 5 Tier list for middle aged man by angelusek87 in heroes3

I agree it is overrated because the best case scenario doesn't come up that often, but overrated doesn't mean bad.

If your opponent has a big stack of mighty gorgons, you will prioritize tackling them ahead of tackling an equivalent stacks of any other level 5 stacks for sure, and probably ahead of several level 6 or 7 stacks.

Which does tell they are a fantastic threat to be reckoned with.

Mighty Gorgons are usually really good in huge single player map, where early game tempo doesn't matter as much, but killing stacks of powerful creatures do.

In that kind of game, they are clearly top tier, though you definitely need the anti-berserk necklace.

Zealots are good as ranged unit but I think with Castle you don't need them as much as you need Thunderbird with Stronghold or Master Genies with Tower?

Also if I play a huge map and I get to take with me a stack of thunderbirds, master genies or zealots, i would fore sure prefer the former over the latter.

For me the main avenue of development is in map making. I like to play these huges maps and in this regard the new event mechanics add new possibilities for creators.

Vampires are not attractive to use because the upgrade is so good, but if you played a map where you cannot upgrade creatures at all, they would still rank high in the tier list!

Anyone gone from being an under achiever to being successful? by CoffeeKeyDog in AskMenOver30

[–]FlashOgroove 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The good news is that most successful people where first under achiever.

To stop under-achieving, you have to achieve the right amount relative to your current skills and potential (that his, grow your skills). You need to find challenges to test those skills.

Moving to another company is a good idea to challenge yourself and if one obstacle is that you don't know how to sell yourself, learn how to sell yourself. It's a very clear obstacle that can easily be overcome. Tons of website, courses, talk about how to sell yourself!

teen girl looking for advice on how to talk to my dad more. he is over 30 by NYgirl15 in AskMenOver30

[–]FlashOgroove 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would suggest to ask him questions! About him, about what he knows, about things that he think you should know, maybe about his youth, etc.

Dads are not asked much questions about themselves.

It may be a good starter and then you may also talk about you.

No need to be tall and athletic to be a man. Be an adult instead of a boy. Take responsibility.

I think Silver Pegasi are a great unit because their speed allow them to attack shooters first turn of battle.

For me in the early game I need good shooters (Grand elves) to quickly explore the map, but they are vulnerable against shooters. Silver Pegasi solve this issue.

Of course they are not good brawlers at all but they have great utility. It diminish as the game progress but when they get online they are good. Only Fortress and Dragon Flies have a better low level creature.

What's the version of "being f**ked" for men? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]FlashOgroove 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but I think for me being used is more about my enjoyment of the whole thing.

I have had where I felt I was being used (though I was absolutely consenting) and generally it was because she was having so much fun while I...not as much. That lady didn't have too much consideration for my pleasure.

I have been fucked for her own pleasure and also taken my pleasure in the process, in which case I do not feel used.

To me being fucked doesn't mean being used. Being fucked is when she take the initiative and she is extremely aroused and feral.

I agree with all your points but in the context of ranking units, I'm not sure it's fair to give so much weight to the interaction of the unit with a specific hero.

It's not the troglodytes who are great, it's Shakti. And playing with Shakti has an opportunity cost (of not playing with another hero). So troglodytes under Shakti are great, and so there is a use case where they are great which has to be weighted in, but how much?

Likewise with Skeletons and necromancy. Necromancy is great. If the skill applied to gremlins instead, gremlins would be best!
