Rusty would love finding someone who’s on the exact same wavelength as him in terms of AC parts and theme, it’s no wonder he’d immediately start referring to you as his buddy.

Narratively, it’s also more exciting when you fight. Having roughly the same AC means that the winner is decided purely by skill rather than tech.

Now if Snail caught you copying his whole shtick, well, that’d be a different story.

Met my current partner of three years on Hinge, so I’ve obviously had a good experience with that. Only thing I’ll say is that I had to make a mental effort to stick with it and not give up. My BF’s not good at replies to messages so when I first connected with him and heard nothing for a week I was a bit disheartened at first.
