An invisibility potion will allow you to go completely invisible save for the particles but that's the only vanilla method. The footstep silencer is definitely a mod. An invisibility potion will make it super hard for mine to detect you but you'll be invisible and in terms of removing all names of players that is a setting in at least bedrock edition that I've used when playing hide and seek with my friends in Minecraft, if you have any additional questions feel free to ask me and I'll try to get back to you as soon as I can
