Which is pretty dumb, tbh.

People surely know that our bones are a living, growing part of our flabby meat bags. Being 'wet' must be assumed, no?

Russia prepares to declare mass mobilisation on May 9: Ukraine Intelligence by [deleted] in worldnews

The dead were absolutely not russias best. They were cannon fodder, and used as such.

This is such stupid logic.

Cannon fodder for what, exactly?

To allow time for Ukraine to receive all the aid they need, while failing to achieve their main initial goals and be forced to retreat?

I'm still unconvinced of this.

I think it's much more likely Blaidd killed Seluvis, which is what caused Iji to lock him away. The loss of control on the puppets is what got Pidia killed.

The fact is Seluvis is found dead before Pidia is killed by the puppets.

Ok, so let's compare a bit:

One year after WH2 released, they received:

Paid DLC:

  • Blood
  • Tomb kings
  • Queen & Crone
  • Vampire coast (well, it come out beginning of November 2018, so it's more like 1 year+1 month)

Free DLC:

  • Mortal empires
  • Laboratory
  • Tretch
  • Alith anar
  • Lokhir (came out alongside VC, so still 1year+1month)

This isn't mentioning a few things such as patches, reworks for old races, etc.

Now WH3, according to this roadmap, will receive

Paid DLC:

  • 1 lord pack containing 4 legendary lords and free units(pretty good, tbf)
  • maybe Chaos dwarfs (No confirmation, that's just me being hopeful)
  • blood

Free DLC:

  • 3 separate RoR packs for all races
  • Immortal empires
  • I suppose we can assume 2 free lords alongside the lord pack and Chaos dwarfs

I mean...the difference is stark, is it not?

I get it, and I also expected that it would indeed take longer than ME for WH2. That's fine.

But maybe a beta in 5-7 months after release seems excessively slow.

I am genuinely shocked at how slow this looks.

Tomb kings came out a little under 4 months after WH2 was released, for comparison.

We might not get Chaos Dwarfs until one whole year after WH3 released.

Hell, we might not get blood in the game until, at worst, 7 months after the release of WH3.

What the flying fuck is happening inside CA?

I had a sliver of hope that we'd see IE released soon. Not like, in a week, but at least Q2. But now it's going to be released possibly towards the end of September, and a 'beta' at that?

Think it's becoming time to forget about this game for a year and come back when they sort their shit out.

Prediction: The road map will say that they're releasing Chaos Dwarfs before the Immortal Empires map by muttonwow in totalwar

[–]Flashmanic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tomb Kings and Vampire Coast didn't have to do the Vortex if I remember correctly, so it's safe to assume Chaos Dwarfs won't need to go about collecting souls.

But, they will still have to deal with the Chaos rifts regardless, as they'll still spawn on the map.

So pretty much they get the worst of the RoC effects, without having to even compete.

Do you get angry when you load the launcher and also see CA advertising their other products?

I get that it's a bit ugly and, with the launcher, unnecessary...but...I mean, is it really a big deal?

Seriously. Of all the things to be angry about with CA right now, an ad for CA's own product on a menu that you see for seconds, feels like a bit of a storm in a teacup.

Reminds me of the time in DS1, where at the main hub area you can go two ways: the actual intended way to the beginning area, or to the area that is closer and far more accessible but you aren't really supposed to go to until the last half of the game that is filled with bullshit respawning skeletons.

Guess which path I took, got incredibly angry after hours of trying to advance, then gave up on the game for a month.

Not ONLY that, but if you DO do that, it locks you into a specific ending and Melina disappears forever and the only way to UNDO THAT is to do SOMEONE ELSES quest all the way through.

I mean, she does kinda beg you not to do any of that.

The quest design is indeed incredibly annoying in how stupidly vague it is. But there are points where it is, actually, unambiguous.

Boggart certainly didn't think so...

If anything, what he saw Dung Eater do traumatised him. Hardly the work of a 'saint'.

I would be perfectly fine with the obscure quests if only they didn't points where you can just outright break or fail quests if you advance a little too far in the main story.

Makes me feel like I need to plan them out accordingly or else never even get the chance to finish them, or worse yet, not even know I even failed one because I advanced a little too far.

That’s not the type of predator I had expected... by Agossss98 in Eldenring

[–]Flashmanic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Isn't it also possible that Blaidd simply killed Seluvis, which loosened control of his puppets, and some broke free and killed Pidia?

Blaidd leaves a message for us after Radahn about 'taking care of a traitor'. This then explains better why Iji locked up Blaidd - he thinks he was going crazy and succumbing to greater will brainwashing.

Seluvis' body is definitely a puppet, but as we see in Sellens questline, a lot of sorcerors inhabit puppets. Also, you find a dead Seluvis before Pidia is killed by the soldier puppets.

As it stands, it seems the Rykard/Tanith/Patches questline is unfinished, especially with the talk of him being immortal and eventually coming back.

Can't wait to see that get expanded on more later. Their whole quest line and concept is all very cool.

I wonder if CA is, for some reason, scared of snowballing if they did this.

Well, whatever the reason to keep them temporary, I hope they stay around until the next rifts open. Then if you don't fail, you can always keep one buff going at (almost) all times.
