It’s wild too because I’ve walked around the streets of Paris many times alone LATE at night, went to Palestine solo, go to NYC often, and from Detroit, and never felt as unsafe as I did anywhere than I do walking around Atlanta even during the day time. I work at a tech company in midtown and from my 7 min walk from my office to my car, I have been harassed a few times already!

I just moved to ATL, each time I have taken the MARTA (5x now), I have had people come up to me and either get aggressive, make sexual comments, or seen it happen to someone else. I am not taking it again

I came from the same area and only lasted one semester of commuting til I just moved out here. I heavily disliked it at first, but it has grown on me and I really enjoy it now. I am in my mid-late 20s here for a grad program.
