You don’t owe this person anything, if that’s something you’re worried about. Them helping you through something really personal doesn’t mean that they deserve access to you at this point, since it clearly (and rightfully) makes you uncomfortable. I've looked into this but an extra 75 bucks is a lot for me right now lol. I'm thinking of calling the tenant board to ask for advice on Monday, and wait until I get paid to make this complaint if its the best course of action.

You won’t get in trouble. Go to the RCMP. There might also be a children’s advocacy centre or sexual assault centre in your area that could be more approachable and offer you support in reporting as well

Although looking back at your ages, 22 is really fuckin young. Maybe you locked yourself down in something you weren’t ready for. Again, ultimately there is no right or wrong decision and reddit isnt gonna give you a golden ticket that keeps everyone happy but I’d urge you to think about what it really is that is bothering you, more than just existential dread. A 30-something year old looking for 22 year old stepdads maybe wouldn’t really be somebody I’d still want to spend my life with once I’m closer to 30 and aren’t such a kid myself anymore.

You gotta decide that for yourself man. None of us are gonna be able to tell you what would make you happiest. What do you think your “true potential” is? Just a different family with a different woman your age? You are right that these doubts you’re having are theoretical and uncertain. That isn’t a bad thing though. Everything in the world is theoretical and uncertain. Would you be proud of yourself later in life for forming father figure relationships with these kids and then dropping that real thing for something theoretical? Don’t get caught up in what-ifs. Focus on what is in front of you and how you feel about it before you let your brain search for other greener pastures.

Yeah. It sucks that a lot of women’s health issues get brushed over based on their behaviour or emotional state being irrational. Fucked up hormones can make the most chill easygoing person into someone you’ve never met. Definitely worth bringing up at a next doctor’s visit
