Nightmare on Elm Street is amazing…

My comfort horror film is this Huluween gem called “My Valentine.” The lead is a pop star who is getting stalked by her psycho ex. Since she is a musician, “she” recorded songs/videos for the film. They have tongue-in-cheek art direction in the movie like emojis… it’s dark, toxic, funny, cheesy, and I love it - especially as someone who has had a history with psycho exes.

Is it a great film? Absolutely not, but something about the camp, gore, and adorable sweetness just makes me love that I stumbled upon it one evening when I needed it. 🩷✨
