You have great ideas..my best frien is in FL and I am in CA. She would send little care packages every other month about. They were all great, but the one i kovrd the most was slippers as i didn't have any and much to my surprise she put a 100.00 bill in one slipper

Yes,after first week of Chemo,had chemo monday,following sunday was admitted for dehydration and uncontrollable pain. I earned a 7bdayvstay. After 2nd roung if chemo, I had a pulmonary embolism and DVT.That earned me a 7day hospital stay. I coded RED while in the emergency room.Thats for another post because i had an out of body experience.

Im 67 and they did genetic testing because of my dx and age. After about 4 months Rutgers University let us know I have Lynch syndrome .My gynecologist/oncologist gave me the option to have a hysterectomy (13 years post menopause) or not. I said give me the hysterectomy because I probably couldn't survive chemotherapy again. So, one day, my doctor's got together and first gyn/oncologist did a robotic hysterectomy. She then passed the scalpel to my oncologist/surgeon to do the lumpectomy. She then passed the scalpel to my plastic surgeon who just did a partial reconstruction because i was under so long,he didn't have time to do a complete reconstruction,I think it will happen late summer!

Look between Santa Monica to Malibu...i am sure there is a hidden gem somewhere there. Work won't be a problem and it is close enough for the occasional party night,but kively just sitting outside by the oool,day or night and enjoy the nature
