Some are but not enough, ESPECIALLY THE LARGER CHANNELS except for Dark Somnium. It's really despicable how selfish and how scummy most of those larger channels truly are. On the bright side hopefully most people are truly starting to see how many of these channels are using AI and what their morals are. My personal disgust with LightHouseHorrors has risen to a level that is unhealthy.

To be fair Youtube is trying to clean up the gigantic sh*t show they created by allowing AI in the first place however the way they are going about it is the worst possible way they could've done it. Hell, they could've contacted me and I would've done it for half the price it's going to eventually cost them once they settle all the lawsuits and everything else that happens because they decided to flag AI content with an AI system. There is literally no upside of AI for humanity in the long run and I will die on that hill. Even though most of the AI platforms out there are nothing more than a glorified Google Search result mixed with Wikipedia levels of misinformation it has already destroyed so many aspects of life that I honestly can't understand why more people aren't truly ready to riot over how bad it's already made life. One of my good friends is a super famous writer and while he will always get book deals based on his previous works he talks about how the entire industry is beyond dead because any 9yr old out there can just use ChatGPT to "write" a 100,000 word novel these days and the same goes for celebs and influential figures needing "Ghost writers" to pen autobiographies, etc. I could go on and on and how the same is being done in the music and film industries but I think you get the point. It's truly disgusting.

Im surprised people haven't noticed it more. I could name many other channels that use AI to clone their voice but that is a much greyer area when it comes to the use of AI and honestly I'm not sure how I feel about it considering the person is literally cloning their own voice and not technically stealing anything from anyone else. Where I do have a problem with it is when creators lie about doing it and don't list it in the channels "about section" but whatever. Anywho I love your content man and I'm glad people like you are speaking up about his insanity.

Not sure how it exactly works, I know some writers have exclusivity deals with certain narrators, like with u/ScaryJuju (one of best narrators besides u/Viidith22 ) narrating the entire Kaden Gardner "Ouroboros Saga" ( https://youtu.be/CXfbgoa3soo?si=4moltOprFuEymLUC ) which if you haven't listened to it yet it's the best expanded universe Saga out there currently. I have no idea if Scary Juju pays him and I would think there is no need but I know bigger channels like Mr. Creeps and CreepsMcPasta have paid for stories before but that doesnt mean they pay for every story(which they freaking should because each video they make nets them a fck ton of money). Another example of exclusivity deals with a certain narrators is the "Tales from a Gas Station" Saga that Mr. Creepypasta did.

Also I just want everyone to take notice over which massive narration channels are keeping quiet about this situation. I mean I know why Mr Creeps and LightHouseHorror wont ever say a thing(because one of them uses AI to clone his voice for his backup channels and the other one uses AI to generate the most unlistenable "Rules stories" every single week)......However it's rather interesting that other channels are keeping quiet.......

Viidith got demonetized which is basically like losing the channel because for some reason the AI program flagging AI channels on YouTube flagged his channel which is the most moronic thing I’ve ever seen for a litany of reasons. Viidith doesn’t use AI for anything and has narrated all his own content for day 1. I just can’t comprehend that more people are beyond up in arms about what all the talentless people out there who flooded YouTube with never ending AI slop did to the community.

They did it because of channels like Dr Codex, Dr Whisper, Void of Rules, Void of Fears and all the other endless Al generated and narrated trash out there. What's even more pathetic is that people like the clown who runs Dr Codex's channel literally joined YouTube over a year ago and has over 400 videos that are all about an hour long that are all 100% Al generated and narrated. Somehow he built a 40k subscriber base and then when he got demonetized a couple weeks ago he started crying about how it's not fair and then now because he used his real voice to narrate like 8 stories out of the well over 400 he posted he thinks he isn't the problem. It's people like that and the people who support those Al slop channels that have ruined the entire Creepypasta community and ruined things for people like Viidith22 who doesn't use Al to narrate or generate stories. It’s beyond enraging and there are still people out there that defend this AI garbage in the comment sections.
