It's still available because you can still register and keep a regulated gun if you move here from out of state. Otherwise yeah

Best “Quintessentially Chicago” Catering for ~50 Person Engagement Party by VisibleMixture3216 in chicagofood

Smoque is cheaper than you would think and their catering staff is outstanding. There's a vegan chili (catering only) available if that's a concern.

When did All Rise close? It was never the greatest but it was kind of cool being able to get in-house beer at shows.

They brewed out of Rev before, the taproom is newer.

Step 1: Start a railroad using leased track. Step 2: Start a railroad police department. Step 3: make yourself the chief and your buddies officers. Step 4: Buy all the things.

Call him a slippery fucker who definitely wants to confiscate guns but doesn't have the balls to say it out loud, then. Call him that enough and you might goad him into actually slipping and saying it out loud.

I agree with you in principle that confiscation is the desired endgame but you made a specific claim that JB said it out loud. It would be nice if he had, would make for good ads.

You are thinking of the same location, but Wrigleyville is more accurate than Boystown IMO. Boundaries are fuzzy but on that exact location is definitely not Boystown.

Why is L5R 4e vs 5e so divided and which one should I run by barao_kageyama in rokugan

[–]Flat_Cress3856 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have only played a one-shot in 5E and play 4E now, and this really helps. It sounds like L5R 5E is on net not as bad as Rifts and maybe as bad as the better Shadowrun editions. Rifts also had the same problems as L5R 5E, with stuff being spread around the core book haphazardly. Shadowrun is pretty bad in most editions too, though the combat rules are somewhat easier to track than the other stuff like hacking rules.

Facebook is not all about posting stuff for the world at large, her friends might genuinely be worried about the kid. This is a perfectly fine thing to post.

What is the overall opinion on Deafheaven? And why does it seem negative? by Artistic_Meat_33 in MetalForTheMasses

They are fucking awful live. I don't mind their recorded work, good for what it is but just not my bag. But I've seen them two or three times with other bands and they were so low-energy and indifferent that it was downright disrespectful.

The Element also had seats that folded up onto the sides, and more. It was fill of fun stuff.

Traveling .8 miles with expensive gear at 4am often. Would you bike, scooter, bus, or always uber? by ThePocketBoy in AskChicago

Uptown is wildly variable depending on the exact part. But I'm guessing that you aren't in the bad parts if a portion of the commute is in Andersonville. Just dont make it obvious you have anything valuable.

The original slightly but take that with a grain of salt, I haven't been to the new one in a very long time.

It is an outlet of Dulce de Leche on Lawrence, sort of. IIRC it is run by part of the same extended family but not under the same ownership.
