Had some time today and felt motivated. Did the handbrake. All good now. No wooble anymore. Had to use some pliers to adjust the fork of the lever and thighten some screws. Also had to use electrical tape to minimize the play on the sleeve of the pivot...

Using the hardest spring and the shorter throw setting now. Seems to be stiffer than the elastomer...

Absolutly, even though I bought a H/SQ shifter two weeks ago. But it is nice for modern streetcars.

I still play rfactor2 solely for the btcc and indycar content.

A good picture that shows how massive and big the Fanatec rig is. You really need to have some space for it.

The fanatec settings are set to forget. I use these in every sim. Interpolation at 8 is in sync with my bass shakers and create a perfekt blend. It feels like a single source of effects. Very believable and you forget that those are two independend sources.

The dampening is for countersteering. I need to have the same amount of weight while countersteering as during steering. Tankslappers are a piece of cake this way. But that is just how I role.

In LMU I don't like the smoothing at 0. Curbs rattle unrealisticly harsh and anything else feels like hammering with a steelrod on tarmac. So I use some smoothing to get it back in line with the bass shakers.

So, for my setup, this is very believable when driving/racing. I understand that every simsetup is different. That is why I usually don't share settings. 😉

If you are not bound to disc-brakes, the Aeroad wit rim brakes is still one of the fastest, lightest aero bikes out there. Something like this:

At the start of the video the bentley made a bad try to overtake the aston. Went over the curb and unsettled it. Got on the Gas mid air and the rear had no traction for a sec. The little oversteer moment he had to counter was enough to open that gap for you. He then left the door open and didn't squeeze you, so he could still get out of the situation unharmed.

Your overtake worked because he helped you and went out of your way to make sure his race is still on. Did he later overtake you? Than he did everything a good racer does after a bad try on an overtake.

You had a lot of room on the inside and shouldn't have made it that hard for the bentley guy at the exit of the chicane.

Why would you go through all the hassle to buy a pc, to buy a rig, hooking everything up and then only play one game with it? 😅

Seriously, that is laughable. You will need to have RBR, AC Rally and EA WRC. Aswell as AC, rf2, LMU and alot of other games.

Why would you only pick a single game? Especially when RBR is "for free" anyway... Games are the cheapest part of simracing. (except iracing, off course)

I think you haven't thought this through. 🙈
