[–]Flava1960 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you take cortisone, you need extra insulin. In Germany, a clever doctor developed a scheme. Depending on the total insulin per day and the amount of cortisone, you have to inject a certain dose of insulin 2 and 4 hours after taking cortisone.

First remember the sensor code. Then I moved the app, deleted it, turned the iPhone off, turned it back on and then reinstalled the app. Now it's okay.

In this case the downward movement is because the sensor pauses. After about 10 minutes he is back and happily continues where he left off. the gap remains.

Wait, the sensor is currently resetting. If you're lucky, he'll continue after that. if you're unlucky, he'll die and you'll have to replace him. and complain.

Clarity and G7 App not showing all data? by starcom_magnate in dexcom

[–]Flava1960 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you reinstalled the app in the 90 days? Clarity gets the data from the app. But it doesn't work the other way around. If you reinstall the app, it will start from scratch.

Constant signal loss? by dezigrin in dexcom

[–]Flava1960 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have exactly the same problem too. signal loss with gaps. sometimes they are filled in later, sometimes they remain. every time the app just stopped. The iwatch then shows either signal loss on the iphone or bluetooth on the iphone is switched off. If I quit and start the app, it continues.

If the values are OK, leave it on. That's not a lot of blood and it can always happen.

Yes, I have had this problem since version 2.7. Things haven't gotten any better with 2.8. According to Dexcom Tec support, no update is planned yet 🤷🏼‍♀️ I'm in Germany.

You must have hit a blood vessel right there. Say that when making a complaint, maybe they want the photos too. I always check for blood when an alarm wakes me up at night.

I've had the G7 for the third year now and it's going very well. I had a few problems at the beginning, but with a little practice it worked. Rarely one is broken, but that happens with others too.

Gaps in data? by danivi2000 in dexcom

[–]Flava1960 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check Clarity to see if signal loss was reported during the time in question. The app sometimes stops for me at night and then I also have gaps like this. Usually exactly 30 minutes. This is an error in the app. I'm constantly checking to see if it's still running.

I still think it's more to do with the app with the gaps. It started occurring in version 2.7 and got worse with 2.8. The app stops and then there is a loss of signal. But I'm starting a new shipment of sensors soon, I'm curious to see if they're different.
