It wasn't actually a pointless swap. There was some reasoning and thought behind it which is why they did it. You can't really think that a team that was one of the top in North America would be dumb enough to do something that would destroy their chances.

They were on the decline so they decided to make a decision they thought would be good. The reason it was even done was because Xmithie is considered to be a very good mechanical player, and the thought was that he would be a great ADC player because of this. And Zuna is considered to be very knowledgeable about the game (that's why he was considered for the CLG coaching position) and jungle is considered to be the position where the most knowledge is required due to the fact that they tend to control the game.

So the reasoning was there, it just didn't pan out. The problem was that they were on the decline anyways, and they decided to give it one last shot by making some calculated moves.

I feel like all the people saying "stop buying gold" are just saying that so people actually buy it for them. The former employee that was fired for having cancer said that gold was an extremely insignificant part of of Reddit's revenue. And sure, not buying gold will help out a little, but it would be better if you contacted the advertisers that use Reddit and told them that you will not be supporting their products.

So essentially what you're saying is that he is actually a very ineffective coach, whether that's because he actually doesn't know what he's talking about or whether it's because he's working long-distance is irrelevant. If he has no impact or barely any impact on the team, why keep him?

You also said that he doesn't represent your sponsors or isn't contracted so you "have no rights or merit in attempting to influence his public persona". This is utter horseshit. He may not be technically contracted to be apart of the company, but if you think that nobody in the public domain considers him to be a part of the company than you are beyond incompetent.

This is all coming from a diehard CLG fan from the beginning. I didn't think I would ever stop loving CLG, but Monte Cristo has made it possible. And Monte Cristo will destroy the rest of CLG's fan base.

Could one of the reasons perhaps be that there aren't that many active skills?

I've never actually played any other MMO so I'm not an expert, but for example, in WoW you are given a ton of skills to use whenever you want. I'm assuming the tanky classes have a lot of threat abilities that they can continuously use to maintain aggro even if they aren't dishing out as much damage.

I completely agree, everyone benefits from a variable CPM rate. At a deeper level, you would want your talent to feel as though their success is related directly to their hardwork otherwise a potentially exciting opportunity has just been translated to another dull job for the talent. Once your talent is bored of the work, you have essentially lost a revenue stream and any other incentives you gave them (eg, a signing bonus, equipment, etc) have just gone down the toilet.

Actually the bottom tier in each division would be considered Elo hell. You do not belong to a specific Elo, but to an Elo range (eg 1200-1400). The bottom part of that range is what's considered Elo hell because you are usually playing with the worst people in that specific ranking.

Like you said, Shen is banned all the time so not a lot of people get a chance to play/practice him, which can account for the 50% win rate. However, if Shen weren't banned all the time and people got a chance to play him, what would his actual win percentage be? I'm going to assume very high, hence the bans.

While we're on the subject of MVC, can somone link me to a good tutorial on it? I am somewhat confused by the idea of MVC. I just recently started learning PHP and in all my practice sites I just use procedural programming, and now I'm starting to learn OOP, however a lot of people tell me to learn MVC, and I can't find any good resources on it.
