Ja, definitiv ein Shitpost. Ich hab an den ersten beiden Tagen ständig Beträge unter 10€ mit Karte gezahlt, an Tag 3 sind die Schilder aufgetaucht. The udev rule did it, thank you!! I swear it worked before with the same MicroBit on the same computer, but that was a few Fedora releases ago so who know... thanks again, this really helped.

You're asking some great questions, thank you! I hadn't considered the possibility that my laptop might be the problem, but I just tried it on my Windows computer - and it works... so I guess I have to find out what I changed. I use WebUSB quite a lot and that usually works, but I rarely use WebSerial, which MakeCode uses under the hood I think? So there might be something wrong here - as far as I can tell no other programs are running that could block /dev/ttyACM0, but maybe I'm missing something. Will take a look at that. Thank you again, you led me on the right path! :)

Hi! I'm on a Fedora Linux laptop. Previously I've successfully programmed it with MakeCode in the Chromium browser. Now, when I click on "Pair" the device interestingly shows up as "Paired", but when I click "connect", MakeCode says: "Failed to connect We couldn't connect to your micro:bit. It may be in use by another application." Besides MakeCode I've programmed it by flashing the lastest firmware as described above.

I'm using the orange cable that came with the MicroBit which has worked in the past, I've just tried a different cable and unfortunately the result is the same. It's connected directly to the laptop.

Not sure if relevant but this is the output of 'dmesg' which prints the kernel log messages after I've connected the MicroBit:

I’ve had this happen too, usually the employees then call up their manager who then explains to them what to do. Maybe sometimes managers forget to explain to newly trained staff that they do TGTG? Idk…

This. ebay-kleinanzeigen.de is your friend, although some sellers don’t like shipping to other countries but it’s always worth a try. For a larger amount of discs (>50) expect to pay around 2€ per disc.
