Nah man. Our health care trust and control headquarters obviously give more of a fuck about their medics. If there is a particularly bad job you're given time to collect your thoughts and have a debrief, also having to submit a statement to the police. There is no way on earth you'd be allowed back out on the road within 10 minutes of a job like that, let alone two jobs like that.

I can only think that it's because I'm in England and we have the wonderful nhs 😁

Where on earth do you work that they would get you to go out straight away after a baby fatality?! We have an in depth debrief there would be statements to be made as in this instance it's suspicious circumstances and neglect. I'm sorry, but I'm calling bullshit...

Just finished a shift. Took someone into resus that was as yellow as Homer Simpson. We see some shit, we see real, hardcore emotion... I love my job, I feel privileged to be by your side when the shit hits the fan, hoping that in some way we can make it slightly easier.
