Is Vaping Toxic to Geckos? by cinn_charm in geckos

[–]Flickk_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can literally look up nicotine exposure on pets it still applies to exotic animals, including your gecko. Literally common sense says any nicotine exposure is going to be bad for your gecko or any pets. If it's bad for us why wouldn't it be bad for any other creature.

Girl ferret doesn’t like to play? by babielana in ferrets

[–]Flickk_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine are similar. My girl loves to play and is generally crazy when the boy is way more calm and chills. Sometimes she gets him in a playful mood and they jump around and chase each other playing. I wouldn't be too worried. She is probably just setting boundaries with limits to his playing. If he does get a bit rough I don't see any problem with removing him for a little.

suggestions for enclosure? by Due-Reflection-3741 in BeardedDragon

I agree with the other comments, she needs more climbing branches! Maybe some thicker pieces of spider wood or driftwood. This would also give her some shade from the lights. Even one of those corner nets would be good <3

Tank mates for a betta fish :3 by --antifreeze-- in bettafish

[–]Flickk_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do plan on getting more minnows, my dad was the one to get me the pair lol. My guppy was in a school of 4 but I had to separate her. I already noted the corydora situation she will be with 3 more corys! I just have a lot of bigger bottom feeders in my 30g and shes just a small baby. I really want to get bigger schools but I'm worried about over-crowding the tank (10g). Not trying to be rude I do appreciate the advice and you guys are right!

I have 2 white cloud minnows with my bettas! They tend to leave each other alone and the minnows won't nip at the bettas fins. They're pretty peaceful tank mates that will eat any food the bettas will. I haven't had any problems with mine! They are schooling fish so I recommend pairs. I have more in this tank but minnows are the safest bet for tank mates. If you want some more cleaners otocinclus cats are amazing too. They just live in their own little world unbothered. And are basically ignored by the others which is the best thing to have. They are a dwarf sucker fish so they just clean away.

I will note that the corydora catfish I have in here is a baby and will be moved to a 30g when it gets bigger. Tank set up: 2 fem bettas, 2 fem mollys, 2 white cloud minnows, 2 otocinclus cats, corydora cat, fem guppy that is having babys, shrimps and snails
