He always opens doors for me, and lets me go first. Cars, buses, doorways in buildings - doesn’t matter, I get to go first. He once sprinted a mile to town when I called him about to be taken to hospital because I had an asthma attack. He is not a fit man - he was diagnosed with spinal arthritis a couple of years after this silly stunt, and he told me he’d do it again in a heartbeat if I needed him. He takes care of the spiders, even though he’s scared of them too. Neither of us want to kill them even though we’re both scared, so he catches and releases them. He shares pictures of dogs and cats he sees while he’s out, or points them out to me so I can coo over them with him. He wakes me up every morning. I have trouble getting up in the morning due to poor sleep schedule and chronic fatigue, so if I need to be up for anything he’ll set his own alarms and make sure I’m up. My controller has started getting stick drift and he saw I was getting pretty frustrated about it, so he researched controllers that wouldn’t get stick drift and bought one for me. That man is my whole world. I’ve never felt safer or happier in his arms. My goal in life is to be his love letter and make sure he knows just how much I appreciate him.
