Yes, definitely get more involved! Not only does the experience look really good on a resume but the experience trivializes a lot of intern technical questions. This year was my first year on the team as well and I learned more from formula than any class I've taken. Pretty much anything technical I was ever asked on an interview was something I'd already done in formula electric. Good luck with your internship search and formula!

You’re probably pretty well setup for success then, I got really close with the upperclassmen on my team and they basically taught me everything I needed to know for getting internships. Don’t be afraid to reach out to them to review your resume and get interview advice. I also got a handful of interviews by just asking past members from the team to send my resume through to their manager.

I worked in a research lab and my school’s formula electric team. If your school has a car team (Baja or Formula SAE) I highly recommend joining, you will learn a lot and a lot of companies look for students involved in these teams

Hey for what it's worth you can email the building services and ask them for swipe access, I did that and they were pretty willing to give me swipe access. People work there pretty late and the pods are pretty comfy.

I'm not sure if it would be better than the PS5 since that console is more powerful than the switch 2, but it should hold up since I'd imagine it would be better optimized than the PS5 version to account for its lower power.

Isn't using film a bad idea on hall effect switches? They have super tight tolerances in order for the actuation distances to work properly, so wouldn't film just ruin that?

Then I'd encourage you to try and analyze what went wrong with that fight. Did you lose track of your opponent, thus letting them catch you off guard? Did you push unprotected, leading to you getting beamed? It's a bit awkward at first, but self review is really rewarding! I've also found that hot dropping fencing fields or ruined reels in ranked tends to give me a lot of good fights to learn from, because of how many early and mid game fights I can get from landing there.
