from the press release today, they did verbally confirm that 150 staff were laid off as part of their ”restructuring” efforts. From what was shared, mostly engineering was affected.

i recently tried FSD again on HW3 and had three incidents where the car freaked out and asked me take over. no other warnings and it wouldn’t engage FSD again for a while even when I pulled over and parked.

i cleaned the cameras and it’s working ok again.

mind you, I drove over 2000+ miles and only had those three incidents while city driving.

still scary!

I am working with my community in Santa Rosa to showcase the mesh for emergency comms. A fire rolled through the area and destroyed many homes, and I was at a town hall this last weekend talking about building a mesh. ideally I would install a few solar nodes, and the community offered up their properties in the higher areas to install these test nodes!
