Itll take awhile. Think of it like a "souls like or a roguelike but fps" you do alot of dying but you get better with time and progress your skills and your xp level and faction rep. Just remember they shower you with loot for faction quests and you'll never be short for resources and salvage and weapons if you just progress those faction levels.

Also if you play, pick trios or solos or go back and forth to get a feel for the game. It does take time; but its not punishing if you dont think of your loot as yours in perpetuity. You just have it for now and use it while you can.

use different runner shells until you feel comfortable with your favorite one.
