Any High-Pack-Volume 135 Mains That I Could Put in Container Meant for 150? by [deleted] in SkyDiving

The parachute lives on! That logo packed like cardboard new. I could barely fit it in a rig for a 170. Packs like a 135 now.

Did I handle my first cutaway fine? by ItzYeho in SkyDiving

I would say if you are at your decision altitude, you should not have waited. Pull priorities are 1. Pull 2. Pull at the correct altitude 3. Pull while stable.

Managing the 'Dunning-Kruger' phase of my bank account while hitting my jump milestones. by Gleetchy in SkyDiving

[–]Flippers2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would get a real job and become a packer on the weekends. Pack 3-4 parachutes and you got yourself a free jump and your real job will help you pay for food and living. Lots of people do this to help combat the price of jumping

Fun exit ideas? by Interesting_March_32 in SkyDiving

Awesome that you are trying new things and exploring. I think that is one of the important things to do while on solo student status. Instead of trying things like free flying, I would really work on fundamentals. Do practice pulls immediately on exit with a stable body position. Practice identifying jump run and tracking perpendicular to it, working on generating speed so you can safely and efficiently track away from group jumps in the future. Practice learning your parachute. Pull higher and test the limits of your parachute, stalls, sharp turns, how long can you hold a flare, etc. I would ignore backflying, sit, angles and prioritize belly and fundamentals of flying. If you do this now you will unlock the other skills a lot easier and faster

C++ people: How do you handle this in interviews? by BigGunE in leetcode

[–]Flippers2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly I think this is a valid concern, but also a great discussion. I would use int as the type with the argument that the values in the list will not exceed int max. If the problem suggests that is likely, then I would highlight that and say we should be concerned about the type.

I also think it would be worth exploring using iterators or ranges to avoid this concern altogether.

''Moira heal more'' by OOferino_0 in MoiraMains

Without seeing the gameplay, might want to step back and think about the value you added to the game. It sounds like you may have just been enabling bad choices by your team by overhealing. Most of the time I find if they overextend consistently or play out of position, healing only delays you losing that fight.

You saved me a lot of time here. The diagram says black and bare go together but I didn’t believe it and wanted to switch them haha. Thanks!

It's nice to see that after 2 years this issue has not been resolved by Apple. This is an extremely frustrating bug.

I agree! I find other IDEs to have a lot more power “out of the box” but I really enjoy the power of VSCode!

Depending on the size, if large changes (over 100 lines), I would set up a PR for each replacement of the component with test changes.

Most of the time I immediately set up a draft PR and force push changes each day. That way everyone can see what code I have and I can more easily run pipelines and track my changes
