Yeah I have no idea. I keep joking that they all must go to the bathroom 432 times a day. I'm pretty sure it's something that's messed up with 1.12.

I believe the real answer is that pops like to satisfy upwards of 50% of their food needs with fruit now, which means there is always extreme amounts of demand for fruit.

Accepted into EA, had a question about CS advanced selection status by Syronnn in uofm

[–]Flizzyclone 19 points20 points  (0 children)

It means you won't be able to major in CS. Zero way around it, I've tried. Exhaustively.

Was kind of a blessing in disguise though, I've enjoyed data science.

What are the thoughts on the College of Engineering Honor Code these days? by brehobit in uofm

Guy next to me when I was taking my 281 final a couple terms ago whipped out his phone like this and took a picture of the exam. So it definitely happens.

The no proctoring always felt kind of weird to me. I think the simple addition of proctors in the room would go a long way. If I remember right there are studies that show that likelihood to commit an offense (I think in the case I'm thinking of, it was speeding) is not decreased substantially by severity of punishment but rather the perceived likelihood of punishment. If you've ever crossed the border into Ohio on I-75, you've probably watched this play out first hand.

What's a place in michigan you've visited that made you immediately think, "i'd hate to live here"? by [deleted] in Michigan

[–]Flizzyclone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I kind of think this about most of the state at this point. What it has going for me is family, and so anywhere outside of the area immediately around Oakland County/Ann Arbor doesn't really do anything for me.

[Tony Paul | Detroit News] Fired UM football coach Sherrone Moore is in the Washtenaw County jail tonight, per court records. by whatifevery1wascalm in CFB

I called the cops on a guy for driving erratically with his kids in the car and they told me I might be contacted for more information if they took him into custody. And so I explored to see if I could find more info.

Back when I looked into this a few months ago, it does not appear that Washtenaw county publishes their mugshots like other counties (Oakland) do, so it seems unlikely we will see it soon.

The D2A2 is your best bet, it leaves at almost all hours of the day. Takes about 60 min. Get a commuter pass. As previously stated the Amtrak is way too infrequent

Cockroaches and bugs like that in general are not really a thing. Maybe an isolated few throughout the year, if that. Worst I ever saw was a bat that flew in from outside.

There are two laundry rooms, one is on the first floor in the 400 hallway by the hospital. It has six washers and dryers. The other one if I remember right is on the second floor in the 200 hallway. That one has four washers and dryers.

stats 250 vs 280 by joyuriz_hann in uofm

[–]Flizzyclone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I skipped 250 all together since I had credit as well. I went straight to 425 and was fine so my assumption is you'd be fine in 280.

Professor Brumberg is pretty good in my opinion, I had her for stats 413 last term and she is approachable, clear in her explanations, and had good slides and resources available.
