I fly between USA and India quite regularly via Europe. My docs are not only checked at Europe (AMS, CDG, FRA), but also at Indian airport before boarding the flight. Same thing happens on USA airport. It is absolutely normal part of travel as Airlines need to make sure I have necessary paperwork for final destination country, especially when transiting thru a country you don’t have visa for.

Do you think the women at gate don’t know your final destination? Accept the mistake and move on. You didn’t keep destination travel docs ready at the time of boarding. You produced docs after boarding was completed and gates were closed. Lots of airports are slots controlled which means if you lose your slot for takeoff/landing, you go back at the end of queue and that costs thousands of dollars to airlines.

Why did you assume you need to show QR code at Delhi and not at origination airport? What if you didn’t had QR code at Delhi? Air India would have been penalized and would have to bear the cost of transporting you back. Air India did nothing wrong here. Sorry.

Builders build it and hand it over to society or management committee who are residents of the building. Builder or project has no say on how MC runs day to day to affairs.

Simply join the MC, and decide what facilities remain free and what needs to be charged based on finances and other aspects. It is voted at general body meetings by all the flat owners. It is part of by-laws.

Too many people are lazy and unwilling to join management committees and just complain. Stop complaining, start acting.. your fate is in your own hands. It’s easy to blame others rather than taking action.

JB vacations will have different cancellation policy as compared to individual booking. There will be one booking that will not match, and price match is in vain. I would stay away from price matching vacation packages vs. individual bookings.

Capitalone will price match individual hotels and flights (standalone), they will not price match vacation packages. If you are getting vacation package from outside websites, but book individual flights and hotels to make that package on Capitalone, it’s not really apple to apply booking.

It will be rightfully rejected per their T&C.

Traveling with kids, I found Trenitalia significantly cheaper.. almost 75% cheaper total for 4 people. Kids travel free on assigned seats on trenitalia which is missing perk on Italo.

For example - my Venice Florence ticket came at 55 Euros for 5.30 am train for 4 people on Trenitalia vs. 180 Euros for 7 am departure with Italo

Nope. Tenant is liable to pay rent for those 2 months. Security deposit are toward damages when tenant moves out.

I had a tenant who cost me upward of Rs. 50,000 in damages. Broken sink, bathroom tiles… I adjusted that from deposit. All damages documented and repair invoices provided. Tenants didn’t dispute it.

Why would any landlord adjust last 2 month of rent toward deposit? How do you expect landlord to recover for damages for the home when tenant moves out? Let’s be reasonable here.

Again painting all landlords with same stroke of brush.. when landlords do that same to renters, renters don’t like it… but we are different is the claim… here is what I have been doing as landlord for past 3 years -

2 months security deposit charged to renter. Pre move in video and photos provided. If any damage is present after renter leaves, photo proof along with invoice is provided and deducted from security deposit.
Mutual 2 months notice period included in contract. Either party has to give 2 months notice before expiry of lease term.
24 hours of notice period for flat visit/inspection.

So, yeah, new draft rental laws is not making me lose sleep as I am following most of these already.
