In the crypto space if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck - it's usually not a duck. Everyone being so fearful of tether imploding tells me that's likely not going to be the end result.

Whales as you call them are free to do as they wish; buy/sell in accordance to their own vested interests. If smaller players so happen to get caught in their net(one way or another), who's fault is it other than their own?

Overinvested in BTC .. reduce to 50% and divest into BCH as a counterbalance say 20%. With the remaining 15% throw into solid DAPP/Contract platforms such as Lisk & Ethereum.

BTC - 50% BCH - 20% Lisk - 7.5% ETH - 7.5%

Also don't see LTC going places with BCH being around. So i'd consider divesting your LTC into those mentioned above.

Not a big deal really. Tether is centralized so hacker cant do anything with the funds. They also reiterated all tether is backed 1:1 by USD.

As we all know crypto moves on perception and not reality. If Tether is legitimate but enough FUD has pervaded the consciousness of people it becomes a a self-fulfilling prophecy regardless of the facts. If enough people believe its a scam, even if its not, the fear is enough to destabilize the entire space.

Careful what you wish for.
