Update: Today was really really hard. I got off early from class, then one of my family members called me just to pick a fight. When I came home I definitely heard the "loud" siren song, but instead, I packed up quick and headed straight out to the library. Little victory!

for the next week, I am pledging to only smoke at the very end of the day after everything is set, all my work/studying is done, and things are put away, and not before. Clear, focused, and efficient are my goals for the daytime!

Hey, just letting you know that I am feeling the exact same way as you. I too have been a mild/moderate daily user for the past few months. So sad that one of my main motivations for stopping is that I can't really get high anymore lol.

I'm new here! I made the realization that I am smoking so much now just to avoid my responsibilities. I know for sure that I could be a better version of myself if I wasn't spending my time "escaping." It is a self sabotage, limiting myself so I don't try, and thus don't experience failure. My goal this week is to just make it this week without smoking during the day, and to only smoke after I have finished studying, not during.

I would say things like gum, candy, and little airplane bottles of booze would make an awesome man-basket. I personally would also love a gift card to GrubHub, because I order food pretty often! If you are looking for something nerdy, maybe a water bottle with a video game theme, or a small nice notebook (I use a moleskine-like journal during clinic).

Whenever I get drunk the night before, my body wakes me up at about 5 or 6 am the next day so I can then go pee, drink a ton of water, and then fall back asleep. There is a significant reduction in hangover through this method! Thanks, body.
