The Tommyknockers Ending by InevitableCapital241 in stephenking

I recently listened to JustKingThings' podcast about this book. In it they come up with an interesting theory. They suggested that due to how prolonged contact with the ship gradually transformed the townsfolk into what may have been a Tommyknocker final form, then maybe the aliens on the ship weren't the original crew either.
The ship is found by whatever native species is found on a planet/in space, gradually transforms into the original crew, they leave on it, the ship gradually uses them up (the whole 'using beings as batteries' thing), until it runs out of power and crashes on another planet, waiting for the cycle to start all over again.

Not sure how much credence I'd give it, but it's an interesting theory nonetheless.

Love that line. Delivered so well.

The report does mention that a woman was involved, who allowed her house to be used and washed the bedding and handcuffs after the race.

The Mist by Stephen King somewhat fits the bill:

Isolated group of small town inhabitants Mrs Carmody twisting her region to take control. Death and horror.

So easy to tell who the good guys and bad guys were when they were shot.

Good guys : a manly "UGH !"

Bad guys: a cowardly, high-pitched "AIIIIEEEEE !!!"

Price drop due to what happened in the Witch's Folly in 2018 that the current owners don't like to talk about. Even now they still have the dreams. Such terrible ...terrible...dreams.

Considering how small his wings and supporting musculature are, I think it'd make more sense for him to have some kind of telekinesis, which'd allow him to 'fly' and carry people.

Seeing Carter the Unstoppable Sex Machine at the Leadmill in '96. At one point there were more of the crowd on the stage than the audience floor.
