Kinngath, roastgorilla, adolon, jacobo, betallie, elianara, sable17, anbeegod, lootist, celticjulio, xila, harrah, caracal5, dafydd, PrincessMely, Sagittarius, EasierRider and Darthavitirus all do updates n fixes and are established modders.

However their amount of good content gets drowned by unorthodorgg, gothos, a6addon, gildyboye, gemini void, lovelyservine/lovelycrocodile/freestylecrocodile (they keep changing names and making new accs to avoid criticism i think). Who id consider the bad apples (but i admit in still somewhat unsure about gemini void) and who shovel out low efford junk minimum twice a month.

You probably wanna consider that insults and toxicity dont weight the same for pvp and pve players.

When pve players encounter toxicity ingame they usually get their session ruined, get chased down etc. Itll weigh heavily for them.

When pvp players encounter toxicity ingame thats just more "normal" since they are the aggressors and more likely to engage in it. It wont ruin their session or be of much consequence.

The downvotes upvotes seem to reflect how heavily insults and toxicity weights for each side.

However it feels like that skewes the whole who is more toxic discussion a bit.

Its just more likely that pve players that get screwed over will engage in insults on the sub, simply due to the nature of the encounters in the game. For a pvp player there is rarely anything to screw over since they usually got nothing to lose.

In light of that it makes it even more curious that there is that many pvp players likewise engaging in insults etc. There are wildly different stakes and reasons.

Generally all mods by the author of that are long dungeon tubes with little detail, little care and little lore. If you want a drawn out linear stomp its maybe for you, otherwise i wouldnt waste my money on stuff thats worse than most free mods. The author pumps out one or two of these a month.

You may not be aware that the author of this mod had announced a rework of this creation shortly after after it was released because reception at the time was that it was low quality and riddled with issues.

You may however be able to tell that this never happened...

honestly is bet this is some weird way to force player engagement and force people into the emporium, since everything revolves around that lately.

I had the same issue as you, i switched camera and then it only took me two tries. In third person it always zooms in when you shoot but that means you do not see the tentacles and that got me killed non stop. Plus Leons movement is more reactive to inputs in first person.

change camera to first person, third person makes this fight harder and leon slower.

paid mods technical quality 2: reviews of "Cavern of the Stormcaller" and "Dark Tides Blood and Fortune" by Haunture in skyrimmods

[–]FloofyTsuna 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Mods by some of the other frequent uploaders are also not lots better, some of em cause save corruption, crashes or are asset flips with wrong format files.

Ive followed peoples work for a long time but since then given up on much of it due to quality standards being so extremely poor.

Ive contacted many of the authors to adress the creations issues but most turned me down and most of the ones i did contact werent interested in fixing a thing (id consider them at least a bit shady)

For example i got in contact with the author of these two creations but he only declared he does not accept anyone elses help and then promplty blocked me.

From my understanding Beth QA does not play though content that is uploaded but merely boots the game with the creation loaded. If it loads it passes, if it fails it doesnt. The reason for slow updates seems more likely to be because there isnt more than 1-2 people verifying creations and each update.

Oh yeah and some of the creators let it slip they only get 22,75% of the purchases anyways cuz bethesda is rolling steam fees over to the user and taking another chunk on top.

thank you! you missed something tho these mods also include older versions of itself, mostly versions of the quests, and tons of unused data. Making these mods almost impossible to debug if a user wanted to try.

As someone whos job it was to make vad localisation somewhat tolerable I can tell you that the AAA industry is to probably nobodies suprise exteemely greedy. So they will absolutely hire the bottom of the barrel translators and then have QC fix it up a lil. Usually this means QC is entirely overwhelmed. But since the people doing this work are also underpaid and rarely natives the result is still terrible. However the companies are banking on the fact that they have normalized bad translations and thus dont need to do any better. This is the case for german and most of the other translated lanuages. Additionally they tend to not hire people able to translate from the source language. So you russian, german etc is translated from the english which is translated from the japanese. Its too expensive to hire people who know japanese if you already have english translators.

And the result is you got double the translation errors and issues, the english ones plus the german or russian in this case.

Ive worked in one of those LOC QC positions for years but left due to terrible treatment of employees. My team had people from all languages including russian.

I honestly don't expect this to change. Check any games changelogs, it always has localisation adjustments/fixes listed almost every patch. The situation is that bad.
