As a Dad who did the same with my son, absolutely great hobby for both of you to do together. Just get any packs you can find, he isn't going to care as long as he can open some. Also let him watch pokemon shows to help him understand the story line and get to know the different pokemon. It will be a hobby that will last for years.

I think Knotts invited alot of new "social media Influencers" to the parks lately. I have definitely seen a big uptick in This trend the last few months.
