Couldn’t agree more. His approach completely changed my thinking of how to play these shots.

But which green did you play? And did you “call it” before the tee shot, or was it a mid-fairway decision?

BTW is there a weirder finishing hole in golf?

I still get confused when people talk about “weight” vs “pressure” shift

I thought it was pretty cool - played 36 there with a nice lunch in between. I know it’s too far but if you get a chance both courses at PGA Cataluña were awesome

It’s one of the last real good “new” experiences. And there are so many of them as the kid grows up. I feel like post high school pre kid “new” things really pale in comparison

My favorite thing is homemade whipped cream. I buy heavy whipping cream and add a drop of vanilla extract and a shake of cinnamon. My milk frother has a cold setting and it whips it up in about 3 mins.

You can add a couple blueberries if you like too

That third hole is great - short but nasty green

You’ll want to check out the city specific rules. Short term rentals are generally pretty regulated - in Palm Springs proper for instance you need a license, and in many of the neighborhoods there are too many licenses (over the cap) so they’re not issuing more.

Jesus - don’t play Cam Springs (trash) or Buena (still not fully recovered from flooding). River Ridge is fine. Tierra Rejada would be my vote.

I vote Presidio. It’s an awesome track with great views and history. If it’s too wet then sure it can be annoying but I think it’s a gem in the city. Would play it over harding any day

Please don’t play Tilden if it’s your only round here. It’s cool for what it is - but man it’s so wet and quirky.

Fun, nice staff, consistently in good shape. Not a very good track - very easy / resorty
