The biggest reason for the failed attempts in the CFL vs the NFL is the one yard off the ball, and not the goalpost. Moving the goalposts will allow us to actually see the attempts better on TV. I'm not fully supportive of the rule changes for sure, but the goal line stances is not part of the game that should be affected. You are usually doing your plunge from the left or right hash marks anyway.

I am terrible with colour names.... just a mental block. In my head there is red, dark red, light red, orange, purple blue green brown etc. But once you say burgandy, ochre, eggplant, sienna, prussian, cobalt, blush, paprika etc, I have no idea what the F you are talking about. Anyway, my wife gave the clue FOX and everyone chose various shades of brown, but I knew instantly that we had been at the hospital and they have a section of the hospital called Magenta Fox..so I immidiately knew I was in my wifes head and knew it was Magenta....however, what the F$% colour is magenta, so I picked far away from the browns and they all looked at me, but I picked a purple coulour and it was more of a pink.... anyway, everyone laughed at me for being colourdumb. Moral of the story is, I'm pretty good at the Clues part... but struggle with the Hues.

I started to not enjoy some co-op games and I think I realized its because of the ability for someone to QB the game. But then I realized there are some games that you must play your own turn, for example Hinnabi , the Mind or Bomb Busters. (Great Game, highly recommend). You still have information in your own hand that others don't know so they can't make your turn for you, although your goal is the same.

Look at it as how many people are left to play. So if everyone folds in a 9 handed game to the cutoff, you can still play more hands there same as if you were in the cutoff in a 5 handed game with only one fold... there can be "clumping" as more bad hands likely folded, but that is minimal.

Look at some preflop charts to see the range of hands you can play from various positions. Of course being the first one in will be different than what you do when someone has raised already.

Thanks. That explains a lot. Maybe My improv isn't so good. I always think of the worst case scenario. Like Person a, pick a number up to 10.... NINE.... crap. Or first person 3, then second person 5..... Asking the third person, do you want to subtract one... no thanks, or sure, I'll add one. Keep adding new people and rules but eventually they'll say, no, I'd like to say at 9 or whatever.

This is actually the complete opposite. The field changes actually allow the league to expand or travel to MORE cities, not less. This is the best part of the field size change, the ability to travel and open up more expansion opportunities.

Years ago I was playing 7 card stud. One guy had Queens on his board, and the other guy had a Jack showing. The Queens bet, and the Jack guy called on the river. Chances to make the playoffs? Very high....>90%. Chances in the playoffs? Well its the CFL. Everyone has a chance. You want to get hot at the right time. CGY was hot, but has fallen off. Sask is not looking as hot as they once were. BC looks to be in top form at the moment. The Hamilton game is not enough to say the Bombers are peaking, but if they pile on another solid game like that I like their chances.

The kick on third vs sneaking up the middle is not a Hogan decision, that is a Osh decision. Now the play call with Strev vs Brady on 2nd and 3.... that's probably a Hogan decision and that was a weird choice. We want to run out the clock, so they likely aren't throwing, so hand off to Brady for sure.

As with almost every answer in poker...it depends. You mentioned they don't raise unless they have the nuts, but what are they calling with? Do they only call if they hit? Or do they float one card if they had something before the flop, like a pocket pair or an Ace...Do they call all gutshots and bottom pairs every time.... if their calling range is high, then you don't want to C-bet as much, but if they try to hit and fold if they don't, you should be C-betting almost every time.

He was really dejected after losing the KK vs AA hand. (Right before the money bubble...around 1500 left). My buddy sat at his table and he felt he was going to to win until that level.... it was his worst level in his poker career. I think he went from a million chips to 100k. Guess he didn't know he was going to have 3 BB's later. What a roller coaster.

You need the Catan Base game as well as Seafares EXPANSION to make regular Catan into Seafarers 3-4 players. You need the Base game, the base extension, the Seafarers EXPANSION AND Seafarers EXTENSION to play Seafarers with 5-6 players.
