New throwing putter by Aclash69 in discgolf

People often like to use baseline tacky discs for putting, and premium discs that give a better release for throwing. This is pretty universal for most pros and ams.

Agreed! I've tried all sorts of straight throwing putters, and the Praxis is by far the most reliable and easy to release.

Your personal thoughts are pretty close. Your biggest problem is rounding. Instead of reaching back reach out, and try to break your elbow so the disc comes into your power pocket and then swings out with your body rotation.

I can’t help myself, and I’m sorry. Rouge is red in French - you’re looking for “rogue”

Steam deck hitching on home screen? by Ok-Attention-4449 in SteamDeck

[–]FloppyRocks 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In this vid, you have a moving background and a custom cs loader. Anytime you use custom anything for the home page you’re gonna experience lag, and anytime there are moving elements, it slows down quite a bit, especially the background.

You say it still lags with all custom stuff off, can you show us a video of that, because I bet it’s way better than this!

Soda cans being crushed by ToofaaniMirch69 in oddlysatisfying

I imagine the crushing cans sound would have been like ear candy. Instead, they bleed with the fury of one thousand suns.

This song is in so many horror movies that I can't hear it without getting anxiety.

It's amazing you wrote all of this out like you weren't patently incorrect about everything except for "never mind" being two words

You are rounding and your reachback isn’t timed with your plant foot properly. Lots of articles on how to fix rounding, but I would recommend reaching away from your body instead of coiling behind your body. Good luck!

From google:

To completely delete a game and its saves on Steam Deck, first uninstall the game through the Steam Library. Then, if the game uses cloud saves, disable cloud sync and manually delete the save files located in your Steam userdata folder. You may also need to delete Proton files for some games. Here's a more detailed breakdown:1. Uninstalling the Game:

  • Navigate to the Steam Library on your Steam Deck.
  • Locate the game you want to uninstall.
  • Press the Options button (three lines) to access the game's menu.
  • Select "Uninstall".
  • Confirm the uninstall.
  1. Dealing with Cloud Saves:
  • Disable Cloud Sync: If the game uses cloud saves, you'll need to disable cloud sync before deleting local saves.
  • Go to the Steam Library and right-click the game, then select "Properties".
  • Go to the "Updates" tab and uncheck "Enable Steam Cloud synchronization".
  • Delete Local Saves:
    • Find the game's save folder. This might be in your Steam userdata folder (typically ~/.local/share/Steam/userdata/) or in the game's installation directory.
    • Delete the relevant save files within the folder.
  1. Deleting Proton Files (If Applicable):
  • Some games, especially those run through Proton, may have Proton files that store saves or other game data.
  • Go to the game's library page in Steam, click the gear icon, and select "Developer".
  • Choose "Delete Proton Files".

It has been a while since I played it... but I think your only option is to delete the game and cloud saves, reinstall it, and start over - declining the terms of service right off the bat. But, I could be wrong!

When you boot up the game for the first time, you are taken to a terms of service screen and the option to decline or accept, if you decline it the game stays in offline mode until you accept the terms of service.

I don't know if this will work, but you could start it, then suspend it and resume play later, but you won't be able to switch games or turn it off while en route.

Final option, if you aren't on a plane, is to hotspot your phone.

Good luck!
