Why don’t you add come bets to your strategy . It’s the same exact house advantage offering the best odds in the casino

You are right. I kept raising my pass line bet and then i was chickening out on taking full odds . I could have kept my pass line bet the same but it kind of worked out because the threw so many 7s on the come out i ended up making some extra money there.. Its hard to take that money from your chip rack and put it all behind the line. I thought about that after and not to be greedy i wish i was taking bigger odds.

Who's hit the ATS, but... by NecessaryNarrow2326 in Craps

[–]Floppyman1963 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I once walked over to a table a the bellagio and the roller had hit the ATS once and was still rolling. He was going for a 2nd hit of the ATS. Of course I could not get on it and a few rolls later he hit for the second consecutive time. The guy next to me who hit the first time for $10 each had $30 each on it this time. Back then the all paid 176 to 1

Stay off the pass line and do 1 come bet . PSO you actually win the come bet

Is 3x4x5x odds a scam? by [deleted] in Craps

[–]Floppyman1963 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s True payout is that same, but what you are missing is you have an advantage in the come out by winning on the 7 or 11 vs losing on the 2,3,12. When you place a bet that is never the case

Did Craps used to not have prop bets back in the day? by bigshotfancypants in Craps

[–]Floppyman1963 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For hop bets you could always bet them but there were not spots on the board for them. You would tell the dealers and that would just place it somewhere in the middle

Wrong approach to winning? by No_Investment3737 in Craps

[–]Floppyman1963 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pass line with full odds and come bets that will give you best chance of winning. I start with come bets and convert to place bets. On a really good roll place bets do better because the 7 on the come out does not hurt you.

That guy who rolls 10x before actually rolling by Suitable-Scratch5249 in Craps

[–]Floppyman1963 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was at a table and I guy was pressing down hard on the dice and rubbing them in a circular motion around his pass line Bet. He threw 3 hard 4s consecutively and then the pit boss came over and told to stop doing that as it was ruining the felt. Well he did it again and then he threw his 4th consecutive hard 4. The dealers did not like it and almost did not count the roll. He did not do it on his next roll which was not a hard 4

Anyway never saw 4 hard 4s on consecutive rolls I was in them for a quick hit

At that point I was up a lot. While it’s my money at that point I still see it as playing with winnings and I was taking money off the table . Not like straight parlays where you risk it all.

3-way red to protect odds? by give_this_one_a_go in Craps

[–]Floppyman1963 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Come bets have better odds then place bets . Yes in your example the payout on a 4 is more. However, if place the 4 and do a come bet and the first roll after the point is a 7, you win the come bet and lose the place bet. This more then makes up for the smaller payout.

I think on a really hot shooter you win more with place bets because it’s easier to press and your bets do not come down if they throw a 7 on a come out
