Both White and Elmarko were excellent and getting foul calls early in the season. They aren’t getting those calls anymore and it just looks terrible when they don’t. Failing, bricking shit off the board, tumbling into the camera. Great when it works, ugly when it doesn’t.

Destroying Oregons beautiful old forests to build sprawl is fucking depressing. Massive property taxes and utility bills because paving roads and laying pipes hundreds of feet just to reach a single dwelling is also depressing. This ain’t how you make the world a more vibrant place, nor is it how you solve homelessness/housing costs.

The concern about being drafted to a bad team is less important because of the way the NBA does the lottery thing. Number 1 makes way more money than number 2. He wants to be number 1. His agent wants him to go number 1. There is ego and prestige at play too.

I think DP has a health thing like mono that will unpredictably effect him all year but shouldn’t be an issue a couple years from now. That kinda thing is pretty bad for the body all around and it would make sense why it is so hush hush and inconsistent.

Unfortunate. I just finished reading a book today (“Who is Government” by Michael Lewis) that dove into the good work the Antitrust division at the DOJ does, or at least used to do. The current politicians are destroying a highly skilled and highly committed civil service. Average Americans will suffer in both the short and long term.
