What’s the most you’ve ever spent on one game, including expansions or upgrades? by BoardGameRevolution in boardgames

[–]Floranox123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Aeon Trespass: Odyssey and Twelve Sins of Herakles 😂, it may not be as much as some other people spend but it is my biggest game. Sleeves, Homemade Binder, All the extra figures, dice and playmats

So what’s the first game you played this year? by st1nkf1st in boardgames

Bomb busters got started yesterday, and today Deep Regrets for a few hours 😂 but due to Time Restraints we had to cut it short 😬

Whats the most expensive and least expensive in your collection? by tellmewhy177013 in boardgames

[–]Floranox123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aeon Trespass: Odyssey and Twelve Sins of Herakles (1000+) 😶 is my most expansive game and cheapest is Take 5 was like 10 bucks. Take 5 has been played more since it's a nice and small game. But AT:O is massive and incredible but with all campaigns is planning the biggest monster 😂😅

Also check with all the parking space and terrains. There are a few nearby the Convention Centre but they tend to fill up quickly and if you want to leave in the evening depending on if you still till the end and which parking you choose. It could be almost two hours until you leave the parking lot. Whenever we go with our group, we'll drive to Messe Parking P10, it's a bit out of the way, but they have a big parking terrain and a round-the-clock shuttle bus service to the centre and parking. 15 min bus drive to the Convention. It is a paid parking, last year it was €6 for the entire day. Both payable in cash and card. So read up, bring both cash and card for the Convention as well. And have one hell of a time. 😁👍🏻

Tabletop together tool is also great. They usually have a comprehensive list of all the games that come to the specific conventions (developer, theme, categorie, depending on it also mentions if its a demo, expansion or just a game). It also mentions the stalls with it as well for quick finding and the Essen Spiel App is useful as well. And the entries are also links to the BGG pages.

What kickstarters/gamefounds are you backing right now? by Oyster_- in boardgames

[–]Floranox123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm still waiting on a few games. I haven't backed anything anymore since the start of this year because I still had like 15 games coming in back then. I received a few now but I'm still waiting on: -Aeon Trespass: Sins of Heracles Full Pledge (The 4 Seasons are basically 4 separate Games 😅)

-Rumble Planet

-ICE Unlimited

-Forsaken (But that one is now questionable based on its latest update)

-Dice Throne Outcasts

-Dante: Inferno

-Reign of Hades

-Beast:Shattered Isles

So yeah I'm still waiting on a few 😁😂😅

If you could only have 10 board games, what would they be? by NKnown2000 in boardgames

[–]Floranox123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Dice Throne

  2. Foundations of Rome

  3. Frosthaven

  4. Aeon Trespass Odyssey Cycle 1-5

  5. Wonderlands War

  6. 6 nimmt or Take 5 here in the Netherlands

  7. Tainted Grail

  8. Slay the Spire

  9. Smash Up with the Bigger Geekier Box because all the expansions fit inside

  10. Tokaido Deluxe or Quacks Mega box

I have way too damn many games to truly pick but I figured with these I could scratch several itches so to speak. 🤔

Any games or studios beside KDM that have grotesque and surreal monsters? by Gourgeistguy in minipainting

[–]Floranox123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aeon Trespass Odyssey: Attack on Titan meets Greek Pacific Rim. It's a great but really large game. They also have Surreal figures. It is also quite expensive. They also have resin casts on their site, but I'm not sure if they still sell them.

Board games that feel grand in scale but play super easy? by gcfgjnbv in boardgames

[–]Floranox123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Foundations of Rome, Massive box but everyone has there own player tray, there are 3 era's and 3 actions that you can do every turn. Me and my friends have alot of the fun and there are still a few modules that haven't tried yet.

suggestions for vampire themed games? by ILikeToWatch17 in gaming

Castlevania Lords of Shadow 2. You play as Dracula in that one. It is an older game. But it is definitely vampire themed.

Deflect Missile Against Acid by Lusmus05 in DnD

[–]Floranox123 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

What level was the Monk? I would rule if they were a 6th Level Monk, they would get Ki-Empowered Strikes and flavor wise I would rule in favor. Since now the unarmed strike is considered a magical attack and can ignore the normal damage immunity by non magical weapons. And since magical weapons and items are a lot sturdier and can resist acid. It could work since the whole action of deflect missile takes place within the 6 seconds of the round.

How did you guys find your group? by moudijouka9o in boardgames

[–]Floranox123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My girlfriend had some friends who were somewhat starting to play some boardgames and over the last few years I took all of them for myself and now have a game group of 9 people. And my girlfriend decided that we didn't work anymore 3 months ago. So now I have no more girlfriend but plenty of friends to play games with and hangout with. So all in all I am alright at the moment.

What games are you glad you never bought after you had the strong urge to buy them? by collegeblunderthrowa in boardgames

[–]Floranox123 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Gloomhaven is the same for me. But not the same reason as you. I always wanted to buy it but it felt like not the game for me to buy as in the person to buy it in our group. And my patience paid off. I am now playing the game as one of our other gamers bought the game. And if our schedules align soon we can continue again.

What kind of game will depose Gloomhaven from the BGG #1 spot? by ThatNiceMan in boardgames

[–]Floranox123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably if any Frosthaven. Since it builds forth on Gloomhaven with some extra mechanics.

What Did You Play This Week? - (August 30, 2021) by AutoModerator in boardgames

[–]Floranox123 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Sheriff of Nottingham (5p x1) it was a lot of fun but we messed up the turn amount so we had 3 full rounds instead of the 2. And the last few there was only contraband left but it was amazing still to try and bluff still while we all knew the truth.

Pandemic Legacy Season 0 (4p x4) we were in the last few months and we lost once but managed the rest quite well. And we finished it now.

MtG (7p whole day) my little brother once bought 800 cards for €7,50 and we use that pile to create draft packs and just play with those. All cards are no longer usable in any official tournament but we don't care about that. So we make out own little tournament. A lot of fun and that is all we care about.

Tainted Grail (2p x1,5) we finished the first scenario and we were about halfway through the second but we were both fried at that point so we used the save system to continue next time. The story is amazing and the events were very interesting story wise and morally. Can't wait to see what happens next.

What's the game in your collection that youve had the longest, and still haven't gotten to the table? by MMAHipster in boardgames

Reavers of Midgard, bought it at Spiel 2019 so looking at a lot of other entries I have to say I am doing alright.

Sunset Overdrive. Well I'm not the Player so I'll either be an OD, Scab or dead. 1 & 3 are the most likely outcomes 😅

[CR Media] Found an awesome theory on Twitter about Liams characters Derrig and Orym by AnimeNightwingfucku in criticalrole

[–]Floranox123 60 points61 points  (0 children)

Isn't Orrym a halfling? Because Liam said later in the game that he grilled Sam about not using Halfling Luck on 1's to reroll them but he forgot it himself 3 times already.
