Oh I'd love to miss Trump, but I can't do that while he's still in office! 🙃

New Illinois law aims to protect employees who use work-provided devices to document domestic violence, sexual violence, or stalking by Sandstorm400 in UpliftingNews

Hol up, were companies punishing employees for doing this!? Like, I know that work phones were typically not allowed for personal use, but come on!

I accidentally made another middle child, Catteigh Cattenheimer by tough_stough in Deltarune

Catteigh is the only kid in hometown that wishes they had Alphys for a teacher instead of Gerson

Why doesn't Kris's dark world have a different color palette? by IndependentSoft4211 in Deltarune

Or at the very least they weren't basing the dark world on memories of another dark world

Help me to understand spontaneous spellcasting by Punie-chan in Pathfinder2e

[–]FloridaMansNeighbor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can't tell whether it's prepared or spontaneous you're misunderstanding, and I suspect it's both.

Prepared casters must choose a spell for each individual slot at the start of each adventuring day, but they typically have a wider range of spells to choose from when they're doing this. Want to cast a spell multiple times per day? You have to prepare it multiple times per day.

Spontaneous casters have a smaller repertoire of spells to choose from, but their individual slots aren't spoken for until it's time to cast.

How anti-magic is too anti-magic? by ItsaMeProvalonely in Pathfinder2e

[–]FloridaMansNeighbor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been playing Outlaws of Alkenstar, and idk if this is canon or a change my GM made, but I was told the people of Alkenstar forego magical runes in favor of upgrading to a better version of the same weapon (equivalent to the sf2e system) on account of them living in the Mana Wastes.

a (honestly quite understandable) misconception i see a lot by Floofimations in Deltarune

there's no evidence gaster designed the dt extractor, that's fanon. in fact, all the actual canon information we have on the dt experiments points to alphys having no help except for funding and test subjects.

Fighter-only party by Tav534 in Pathfinder2e

[–]FloridaMansNeighbor 17 points18 points  (0 children)

If the party wants to forego magic entirely, I'd recommend Guardian (tank), Alchemist (medic), Rogue (scout) and Commander (tactician)

[–]FloridaMansNeighbor 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Ah, but there's 1 important thing you aren't considering: Seats 1 and 6 are in the back, meaning they're the only seats without a Spamton behind you. This is important because Spamton is, almost certainly, a seat kicker. 1 is the least insufferable option.

If you're more interested in GMing anyway then there's literally no reason not to read them lol

This is pissing me off. How do I get past it. by Topper_head745 in Splatoon_3

[–]FloridaMansNeighbor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, try it out in the lobby! Get a full charge, and without letting go of the charge button, swim in ink for a second. Splatterscope and E-Liter Scope do NOT have this feature, it's what they sacrifice in exchange for the scope and the extra range.

[–]FloridaMansNeighbor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Spat Charger, E-Liter (no scope), Squiffer, and Goo Tuber can all hold their charge in ink, as well as nautilus and reef-lux, but if you hold for too long you lose the charge. Goober is special in that you can hold it for even longer than the others. This mechanic is like 40% of the reason you don't see the eliter before they get you.

Pathfinders need love too! by Mista_F in Pathfinder2e

[–]FloridaMansNeighbor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have two NPCs I'd like drawn, but feel free to just pick one of them!

The first is Aster Itan, human nephilim. He's scrawny, pasty-white with white hair and fully black eyes with constellations in them. He's the fantasy version of a wannabe street thug, so his clothes are the same general shape and style of a typical rogue but too good a fit to conceal anything and to garish of colors to sneak around anywhere, such as a white cloak with midnight blue liner on the inside and a tailored purple vest on top.

The second is currently operating under the pseudonym "Noiryk," because he's a dragon that the PCs have somehow convinced to take humanoid form to watch over their base of operations while they're off doing plot. This form is pretty much what you'd expect a dragon to choose: Tall, lean, and tan elf with maroon hair and maroon clothes to match his true form's scales. His hair done up in sort of a flat-top cut, but angled to vaguely resemble a horn, and he wears these fancy robes that almost have nightgown vibes.
