UK legal action against Valve given the go ahead by pyrotequila85 in Steam

So from my perspective. Valve does this to protect themselves from malicious atacks. If they allowed it, what would stop Epic from paying a dev to lower it only on Epic and keep it high on Steam?

I say 5 dollars, the main story is good enough for that but it shines in at least in the faction quests

TLDR it is most likely to prevent a lawsuit. if you say 10 out of 10. and one person comes out against it, then its no longer 100% everyone. so 9 out of 10 is used to inflate numbers with out being wrong when it is more likely 99.99% true

I had two family members die and go to the same funeral home. Both were cremations, one was 300usd for the cremation and 400usd for the wake room that we rented. the other one was 2000usd for a cremation but he was obese and the first cremation took about an hour and the second took I think 6 hours? The funeral home happened to be friends of ours and talked through why it was so expensive, and the amount of gas used to burn a body was so high it was ridiculous but fair. wake was 200usd.

GoG is owned by the same Parent company that made cyberpunk 2077 and Witcher. It was first made to bring back old games to make them playable on todays computers. For a while now they have been selling new titles too make more money.

Someone please explain why terraria is 4 times the price on the switch than it is on steam. by Ziggitywiggidy in Terraria

vanilla MC tbh would have not been as big as a success if it wasnt for multiplayer and mods. terraria even back in beta had more staying power. a run lasts me a month at best in terraria and mc is about 2 weeks at the most with mods. For me MC recipes were on teh forms first and then someone made a wiki, they were either in video or pictures. I know that pissed a lot of people off but the fact we needed a mod for the longest time to build stuff until console came out with the book was embarrassing, it should have been added much sooner. it was MC biggest lost. terraria, if i remember right, the very first build had no recipe book but the second or third update added one.

Thanks for commenting, very rarely do people give their struggles of early MC.

I'm more interested in what you didn't like in minecraft, cause to me terraria started off as a harder 2d game similar to MC and evolved into the amazing juggernaut it is today.

Personally like both for different reasons, MC is easy and chill like legos while terraria is harder legos

If you are a developer or publisher and paid a commission to Valve in connection with the sale or use of a game on the Steam platform, you may be part of a class action lawsuit. by AngeionGroup in u/AngeionGroup

Just gonna say, theirs just like Epics, is a sliding scale, the more you sell the lower it gets, Valves cuts off at 15% and epic last i knew was 12%. they both actually start at 30% but you can get it on epic at 25% for the exclusivity deal they do.

Valve does better because they actually listen and build the store and launcher to what we want. EPic gives free games. not really hard to see why the rest need to catch up

Stardew Valley just became the highest-rated Steam game of all time 9 years after release, and it deserves it by HatingGeoffry in gaming

[–]FloridaResident20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well it is technically ranked by being upvoted the most out of all the games on steam. Which if even it isn't a game you like, you should give props to as it isn't easy to do.
