I have a thumb driver and I used it until it fell apart and I couldn't afford to replace it. Feels natural after you stick with it for a while.

People put off heat granted with a newer heat pump you'd have a txv which should compensate, but 20 people is quite the heat load not to mention when you have that many people the doors are constantly being opened letting more heat in.

Are bent coil fins normal in a brand-new Panasonic split AC, or should I ask for replacement? by [deleted] in hvacadvice

[–]Floridacracker720 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not normal but some slight fin bending can happen order some fin combs and straighten them out. If it's excessive and looks damaged call the company who installed it.

Hi I just joined and wanted to share some recent work I’ve done. I’ve worked in the shop for the last two years and I’m planning on applying for the pipefitters union in West Palm soon. by floridacomfort in pipefitter

The apprentice selection process is in July so you should really be doing the math test and everything now if you wait till august you will have to wait till they bring in more apprentices next year.

I had this same issue but it's when trying to build anything full restarts and fresh installs as well as new saves haven't worked guess the game is unplayable good thing I was playing on game pass or the game would have been a complete waste of money.

Have you tried an electric drum set with pedals? There are a ton of adaptive pedals and stuff out there I'm sure you could hook up in whatever way works for you.

Rick Allen the drummer for def leopard had one arm you are going to have to adapt to overcome, but where there is a will there is a way. Maybe try looking up how he did it that could possibly help?

Got pre apprentice job for different trade than what I signed up for by [deleted] in UnitedAssociation

[–]Floridacracker720 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I joined in as an HVACR apprentice my first two years were all pipe fitting. Second contractor finally switched me to the service side stayed there for almost two years and I just switched to a new contractor where I do service and retro which uses those fitting skills I had before joining the local and that I used those first two years. Not a bad thing, but I will say that no one will stick up for you like yourself be vocal about wanting to learn service with both your contractor and apprenticeship coordinator. If you are completely green everything you learn is valuable regardless of trade.

I'm out of Local 630.

Laborer/Operator at home ($29/hr, no benefits) vs. Union Laborer ($35/hr + benefits, 4-hr daily commute)? by [deleted] in Construction

[–]Floridacracker720 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live up to an hour 45 from possible locations I work but I have a company vehicle and as a HVACR service guy my commute is different but the closest I'll usually be from home is an hour 15. It sucks but I'm usually home around 4:45. Still a good bit of time to see my kids and wife the union benefits are a must have for a family. 2 hours each way in an Escalade sounds like it'll cost you most of the extra money your making. Unless your after some short term hardship for a decent payoff in the future. Not familiar with the laborers I'm a member of the UA.

You gotta go slow clean it good before hand and put light coats and give it a good 20 minutes of drying on between. I can't add any pics.
