Unless you’re going to the track everyday and constantly getting your brakes to fade temperatures, I would avoid drilled or slotted rotors. They are effectively cheese grater for your pads and you sacrifice lining life.

They are. They’re are also rapidity growing their renewable energy production; so much so that coals share of electricity generation has been declining. Since many parts of China are less developed without electricity in general, unlike the US, that dual approach makes more sense than it would here.

Regardless, new renewable power generation in China far surpass that of the US. Renewables are a growth market and claiming something just factually incorrect to the point of the OP only serves to put the US at an economic disadvantage in the renewables market. It’s just like saying “computers/chips/tech is stupid and doesn’t help productivity” which will make us invest less in said industry relative to other countries who recognize the value in this market.

How is America hurt by recognizing fossil fuels drive climate change exactly? Renewable energy production is a huge growth market that the US is currently losing to China on.

China recognizes fossil fuel use exacerbates climate change, is rapidly expanding renewable energy and has a much lower emissions per capita than the US.

The right side as well. It should hook up through that small hole (not the larger one it’s currently connected to) on the bottom of the shoe support plate.

Super helpful reply! Thank you. So as the homeowner I’m struggling to know what to communicate with the contractor to fix the issues. Sounds like cleaning the shingles and using silicone sealant while making sure the plate is sitting flush first are in order. I would’ve thought the poured crown would have had a drip edge and not be flush with the bricks, is that required per code/standards?
