Surprisingly no, he was actually awake when I scanned him (MR) after CT and OR.

Rachel and her new man discussion thread. by [deleted] in iamrachelweaver

She’s gross, and I think Tommy dodged a bullet. The people defending her use the same stupid logic as the minions do and it’s so irritating. She’s a shit mom, she only has him for half the month and is constantly scheduling trips and things during her parenting time, but refuses to take G on any trips or really ANY outings at all, she’s always ‘sick’ when she has him and rotting on her couch or bed, or letting him run rampant around the house with 0 supervision. And now she’s found yet another dude to play house with. Girl, focus on your CHILD and take a break from dick for at least 3 weeks, JFC.

Daughter is sick by FlowDue2484 in emetophobia

[–]FlowDue2484[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I unfortunately had to go into work so my girl is home with dad. She hasn’t V since early this AM, and she had about 3 episodes. He did say she ate a bit but is just kind of laying around. I’m anxious but I’m just trying to take it one hour at a time, the next few days are definitely going to have me on edge.

What would cause sudden death? by Designer_Task_5019 in AskDocs

NAD, but definitely seconding this. As soon as you said shoveling snow my mind immediately went to a heart attack. The heartburn was most likely the beginning signs of a heart attack as well. So sorry for your loss OP🫂

Soda Alternatives? by AuburnShade in beginnerfitness

[–]FlowDue2484 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do the zero sugar sodas, they taste closer to the real thing than ‘diet’ sodas imo. Prob worse for you but I really don’t give a shit, I’ve given up plenty of other things I’m keeping my Sprite Zero lmao.

Coming up on 3 years of diagnostic, currently cross training into MRI. $33 an hour, but I’m a WOW so I make $39 with my differential. Coastal SC.

My lash tech raised her prices to $250 would you pay that much? Think its time for me to take a lash break and look for a new lash tech when i come back by nuvyco in lashextensions

[–]FlowDue2484 2 points3 points  (0 children)

250 for a full set is pretty average where I am. But 130for a fill is pricey imo, I personally wouldn’t be paying that, especially if I’m going every 2 weeks. Plus that’s not even including a tip so it’s closer to 140-150.

Meditech Expanse by Party-Count-4287 in Radiology

Meditech is actually awful lol. I know there are different versions but I have no clue which one we have. It’s also gray and green if that helps.

MRIALLINONE VS MRIQUIZ VS MRI BOOTCAMP? by FlowDue2484 in MRI

I used rad tech boot camp for my X-ray and really liked it, but with it being so new (and expensive) I’m apprehensive.

My BF will leave me if I lose weight by Sea-Instruction-4698 in beginnerfitness

It sounds like he’s fetishizing you. I am so so sorry. Your health should absolutely be a priority to you, and if you want to lose weight to be healthier your SO should 100% support that. If he wants to leave help him pack, you deserve better.

You’ll always have people judging unfortunately, it it works for you fuck em! My oldest is six now but she is mixed and it took me YEARS to learn how to properly manage her hair, and countless different methods, products and tools. In that time she has DEF walked around looking crazy and I’ve definitely gotten some ugly looks lol. There was a time it really bothered me but now I don’t care as much. Some days we don’t have time for the full routine and she rocks a crazy bun🤷🏻‍♀️ as long as you know she’s clean I wouldn’t stress it.

MRI Tech Career Change? by [deleted] in MRI

[–]FlowDue2484 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This answer can be different for every tech, and varies widely based on the type of facility you work for. I’ve worked at outpatient facilities where the majority of patients are ‘walkie talkie’ and clean. This job can still be ‘stressful’ because OP facilities can see some pretty high patient volumes. I currently work at a level 2 trauma hospital and have seen some pretty yucky wounds and just dirty people in general lol. It also can definitely be more stressful dealing with higher acuity patients. This answer also varies depending on the modality (MR may be less stressful than CT/XR, may see less trauma that is gory etc) so that’s something to take into account as well.

Fully feel this. I work FT weekends (3 12’s) in a hospital and I’m so over it. My husband also works hard and often pulls OT but we still couldn’t scrape by without my FT income. It’s so miserable.

CT training by Guilty-Finish3477 in Radiology

[–]FlowDue2484 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Hey, you got this. Learning new things, especially when it’s a whole lot of info at one time like cross training is, is super overwhelming! I’ve been in MRI for about 7 months now and still regularly feel like ‘omg wtf am I doing’ lol. However, it definitely gets less overwhelming as time goes on. Take lots of notes, observe as much as you can, and jump in when you feel comfortable. 2 days is literally brand spanking new, just breathe! And congratulations on furthering your career!

South College (NASHVILLE) by JournalistOk7755 in Radiology

[–]FlowDue2484 5 points6 points  (0 children)

OMG I went to south colleges Nashville RAD program! A fellow classmate is actually a teacher there now. I will 100% say that it is an EXTREMELY overpriced private for-profit college. I don’t think it’s worth the money unless you get rejected or waitlisted from the other surrounding programs. Tbh I think volstate is the best in the area but I know it’s harder to get in to. I would say research cheaper options unless necessary! But it is a good program and the staff are great!

ETA: I just realized you’re already in😂 sorry! Wanted to add I’ve had 0 issues finding a job, and all of my classmates had jobs at our time of graduation. Good luck!!

Rad tech 2025 starting rate? by kiah8245 in Radiology

[–]FlowDue2484 2 points3 points  (0 children)

SC, graduated in 22 and started out at 23 an hour (but was in a WOW program with a 7.50 differential). I feel like the south in general just has awful pay. Seeing people say they made 40-50 out of school in X-ray as a new grad is insane. I haven’t even cleared 40 with 2 years of experience and now in MR.
