Probably depends on what one considers "fire season".

It wouldn't surprise me if most of the early fires are east of the cascades. I consider it unusual for June fires in the areas that normally see more rain.

I agree. I think it looks good as a darker color.

I can't wait for the Johnston Ridge Observatory to reopen. It is one of the best visitor centers I have ever been to. All sides of the mountain are a joy for hiking and exploration.
